Honestly, this is fine. EVE is a difficult game and not everyone is cut out to handle it. If you don’t like it, it’s really better for everyone that you just move on.

Honestly, not every product needs to be changed to maximise income from mainstream consumers.
There’s a niche for eve and players who like things like eve, like there’s a niche for metal music or horror books.
Tell Marilyn manson to make hip-hop music, stephen king to write children’s fantasy books or gordon ramsay to make mcdonalds burgers. I’m sure the result will be a swarm of customers.
That niche cost MONEY and you do not pay enough to “niche” to survive…
Really? Cause it has out lasted almost all of it’s competitors and only ever started suffering after significant nerfs to core gameplay.
Seems like i was spot on. Crap on your core customers too much and get burned.
The rush I got, still get, when I tackle somebody and try my damndest to blow up their ship before mine blows up… No other game gives me that, and I’ve tried them all. The amount of time, effort, energy, planning, isk, ect that goes into any given build… I have limped away after a fight victorious with only 3% hull remaining, and I’ve lost them just as close. Melting someone who thought bling fitting would protect them from their own mistakes, then taking their ■■■■. Hunting cruisers in frigates. Solo kill an algos in a blaster comet(that one puckered the old brown eye btw). That is what keeps me logging in, that’s why I love this game still. No amount of high sec rules, safety buttons, general ease of use stuff has or will change that. The people that take offense to some of this stuff aren’t even playing the same game as the rest of us.
Well lucky for you i am a 2004 vet who has only taken a single break in eve of 1 year when my first child was born… So summer child, time to have fun with this post.
Medical clone payments was a ■■■■ mechanic. I hated it with a passion. I actually do more risky stuff now that i don;t have to worry about not only losing a 1b isk ship but then also having to fork out 100m to upgrade my clone. As my play style until about 2010 was to have under a billion isk, and often time less then 500M, this was a great annoyance an di am glad its dead. Honestly, explain why this was a great mechanic? Because it wasn;t. There was zero choice, you either upgraded the clone or lost SP’s, and that in its self is dumb. Much like learning skills were a stupid mechanic, so was that.
My corp was mostly industrial based and noob friendly. War decs as they were did nothing to help improve game play, you know what my corp mates did? they stopped logging in, left the corp, or stayed docked for a week untill the dec was over. There wa sno way to end the war, surrender never worked. All that happened was my guys were picked off one by one. Very few enjoyed that mechanic, and thouse that did would go join a pvp corp anyway after they got there feet wet. The war changes are good, they allow the defender to have a way to stop the war, and hurt the attacker. Much like oh idk, a real damn war irl. You are again wrong dude.
I cna not tell you how many time si jumped form null into HS and frwake dout at the neutrals and got conorded becaus ei forgot where i was. The safty buttons have stopped me a few times from making a dumb mistake, though now i turn them off anyway. Its good for new players and vets alike who cna forget where we are when we see neuts flood the overview. I have also accidently clicked a weapon moduel when then accidently targted someone and shot them in HS because my fast fingers hit the wrong button combo. ‘safty’ is not that big of a deal, and if you are mad at eve over thata… then you have othe rissues.
Uh what are you talking about? The instant corvet just replaced the super stupid ‘hey you docke din a pod… here is a free a rookie ship!’ mechanic. I have hundreds of rookie ships all over eve cluttering up my assests when i did not need the damn ship. I greatly enjoy that i cna chose to get one now.
While many complain, this actually is good for a ton of reasons, mainly if you wanted a stronger char you used ot have to buy it form the bazzar, now you just the sp’s. you keep your identiy and don;t have to deal with someone elses bad choices. I personally have no issues with extractors.
The gaming world has changed, and changed a lot. while i have not ran missions in years this feature is good for noobs. So it doesn;t bug me.
I’ll hold on to your stuff for you, and your skill points. I;ll keep them safe untill you come back if you are going to quit. Pinky sware.
You are a strange creature if this is your definition of ‘fun’ ![]()
