I have to give this one to Diana. The Caldari are more… oligarchic. There’s no singular leader ruling with unfettered executive power to be fascists. That ended with Heth. Then, there was a case to be made for fascism, but now? Nah.

The Caldari are the quintessential fascists. Look at this nonsense such as suborning oneself to this thing called the State as if it exists independently of the individuals that comprise it. That is nothing short of rank reification. The State is nothing more than those who control it and grind down individuals into nothing more than mindless automatons.

Oh, it’s definitely an authoritarian oligarchy, but then, most oligarchies are. While Fascism is also authoritarianism, authoritarianism isn’t necessarily fascism. It’s important to be accurate when lobbing these sorts of incendiary labels around. If you’re wrong, it’s a lot easier to ignore you.

It’s not as politics, as it is a struggle for survival in harsh environment. And the harshness and threat of this environment is represented by gallenteans, who are attacking us.
We still hold Black Rise, as for the State isn’t effective, it’s because it’s mostly eggers now, who are doing the job. Unfortunately, too many eggers got brainwashed by gallente propaganda and run away from their duty. Most shameful display.
Shame to all the pilots, who don’t help to defend Caldari space from the occupants!

They aren’t brainwashed, they just realized that they can live peacefully together with their families within the Federation, who welcomes every citizen of New Eden with open arms. It’s within the Federation, where they can thrive without the fear of being forced for military duty. To die for someone else’s wrong ideology.
