Confusing and pointless.
Good that youโre being SO constructive with your input on CCPโs behalf though. Kind of says it all really.

If it hurts the game I am sure CCP will pull it like they did with other things, If you donโt know what it will be like how would you know it is bad?

IMO it sounds like a dumb idea designed for dumb people to use.
So does that mean you can legally RMT by that mechanic as long as you pay a small fraction to CCP as HyperCores?
- Buy an expensive item and HyperCores from market
- Set an offer with a big profit margin
- The bots pay for the item, if one of them actually get the item sell it at the market
- Rinse and repeat

Iโve voted Neutral, because I donโt want to have an opinion.
Itโs perfect to milk Koreans out of their money and those guys are lost already.
Theyโre literally raised into exploitation being the norm and educating them about it is useless.
I had to quit Eve in the past due to gambling and stopped playing for years. I only came back because they removed somerblink and Iwantisk. I even have tickets asking them to close them. This could be it for me. Might have to quit the game if they add this. No joke this is a real life problem for me.

If that is no joke, you will know what to do. Just dont give them occasions to exploit your state. They want money and you dont own them anything.
They will add this 100%, its for testing already and sheduled for release.
While I have a certain sympathy for your problem, this whole approach boils down to โBan everything everywhere, because there will always be someone whoโs vulnerable to something somewhereโ.

I donโt expect a ban. Just I have a gambling addiction and I avoid all games that allow real world money to be gambled (converted then gambled) . Which would mean quitting eve. It sucks but thatโs life. I personally donโt think gambling for real world money should be in any games except actual casino games. Like i consider fifa gambling which is why I canโt even play football games anymore which i loved too. I donโt even mind casinos in RPGs because your gambling the in game currency. But once you can purchase in game currency with real world money itโs done for me.

I didnโt like it when a gambling mechanic with the trig stuff was released, but now theyโve added this lottery mechanic Iโve gone ahead and reported this to my nationโs gambling authority.
I donโt think this kind of stuff belongs in a 12+ game.

Tldr: In some countries the government exerts control on non-charity raffles. And CCP does not comply. It is not that difficult yet I see many struggle with that concept. Imagine how those players are handling their EVE adventureโฆ

If they get caught I will need to pay a yearly VPN subscription. So I will most likely end one sub to pay for the VPN so everything stays inside the budget.
