I always view these AG threads as an attempted call to arms. The problem is that the vast majority of those posting such calls lack the charisma to pull the call off. In fact, that is the general problem for the AG community. They lack that one person who can unify them into one coherent force. Without that, you just end up with a bunch of people shouting on soap boxes getting nothing done.

The had a few clever people. But toxic and seriously paranoid people like the op make sure there isn’t forming anything at all. I don’t know why ag attracts those “kind” of people. I’m sure there is some valuable scientific discovery about human nature just waiting in that channel to be extracted.

Imo the problem here is that there is little point to “anti-ganking”. In fact, what CODE calls anti-gankers are from 99% just a killmail collectors. They do not care about saving anyone, they are there waiting for CODE to gank the freighter only to gather few killmails or to steal the loot. Gankers decide when and where to gank, even if you actually gather enough players with the right ships to save the freighter, you won’t be able to guard all 4 high-sec entries in Uedama. If you sit in Sivala gate all they have to do is to scan and find a target from Juunigashi/Haatomo/Ikao direction. Or go gank elsewhere. Also it seems they are more and more often getting ppls to log-out (wonder if it has to do anything with the recent thread where logging off was recommended strategy against gank) which then means they kill the freighter in safe spot where nobody bothers them and they can kill and loot the freighter without dealing with “ag”.

Because ag is completely incapable of using a scan probe launcher? There are tons of tools they could use. It’s not like it is super difficult to predict the next gank or to actually fly a ship that could tip the balance. But they rather just sit on the gate and shoot the Cats and don’t even manage to kill one before CONCORD gets them, which means they did nothing at all.

Forum PvP is always dangerous. You gotta admit though that permanent scowl etched into your capsuleer face grimaced into an almost smile when you saw that though. It took me a solid 5 mins in photoshop to make that and almost an hour on google to find the neck piece. I might see about challenging you for King of the Forums again soon ™
