well its 2/4 just after resrat here in Chicagoland area in USA and still having MAJOR log-in problems. Hoping maybe after the restart will be better. And when do get logged in(maybe 1 in 10 times trying) usually dropped within 15 to 30 mins. Chat is working now when I do get in. Thank you at CCP for your hard work trying to fix this and if you I.D. ppl doing this let the community know. Don’t kick them.

Chat has been getting better for me and no DC’s in 2 days, connecting 2 accounts 1 has been starting good the other errors to old launcher. but all in all you guys are doing great. keep up the great work.

Cos it’s downtime atm I looked at your board too. All you do is kill unarmed scanners in your lil hidey hole and you’re still in -ve values for isk cos your losses are stupid. I mean, you seem to live in a WH but instead of using something like a blockade runner you take your loot to sell in a bloody Iteron and it gets blown up!

Things are still really broken if I try to log on normally. No matter how many times I try, unless I use a VPN through the UK, this is the message I get. A lot of players in the upper mid-west of the States are still having this problem as well.
You clearly didn’t look at my KB. The majority will be explorers due to the nature of wh space but as an example, take a look at the two kills on the 26th of January. I am a three month old player and that was an experienced player. First I killed his Astero and then I killed his Proteus within 2 minutes of each other. I was in my Proteus. He baited me but i stayed for the fight and ■■■■■■ him up.

Yeah, I did that a few times. It’s just broken. NBD, everything is just great with the VPN though.

If the data shows that one region was less effected than another region then the region that was less effected was most likely responsible.
I would also not go jumping into anything deep and costly within Eve for the next two weeks. This will ensure if a secondary attack or numerous secondary attacks take place you won’t be caught in an expensive venture and lose it.
Stay low key for a while until the tendrils slither back into the deeps where they came from.
I’m really glad that ccp set up this thread to keep us up to date with the issues - Sure would be nice if they actually said anything in it though.
The one update has been to say “oh we’re monitoring the chat as we noticed some users are still experiencing errors” when any muppet could have told you that when you originally posted the thread.

I think I give up for today, again. No use in trying to play to get kicked every 2 to 20 minutes or even being unable to login
What I don’t quite understand. How can DDOS only hit some regions and not the others? I assumed the server(s) would be down, so it shouldn’t matter from which region the players connect?
For example the chats are broken for everyone, that would be DDOS. But if one region has the connection to the sever and others don’t, what is that for DDOS?
the internet is a network of computers, if someone is attacking a computer in the network route to connect to the game server then that can cause a dc without the games servers being affected.
Well. new level a skull fuktardism. Ice fields with no ice just to get the now usual no reason disconnect and of course after 5 tries stuck in mid load one 1 account and other 2 in the BS bulk data .
