Triglavian Bioadaptive Cache input?

Oï !

I recently started to run some low tier Abyssal Deadspace sites, and I discovered a feature on the Bioadaptive Cache : for six Triglavian Survey Database, we can get a Triglavian Transfer Data Vault.

I wanted to know : is this simply lore related ? Opening those vaults only gave me more Survey Database (lol ?) and Triglavian Datastreams that looks like Destiny’s engrams and are apparently worthless. Also, can those vaults give additionnal loot or should I just shoot the damn chache instead of wasting my red loot ?
