I think the wormholes are guarded so closing the wormholes may not be so easy. Who knows how long before another one would respawn if you did?
Can you tell me where that is documented or how you know that? If that is true than many systems are safe from roaming trig fleets?
Up-thread is a link (multiple, actually) to extensive research documentation showing what the range is for Trig wormholes to appear, in relation to the original locations of the systems that now form the Pochven region. Iām on mobile, so I am not going digging for it, but it is there.
Edit: Seriously? Itās literally two posts above the post you are quoting.
It will get you negative to Edencom though, and thereās over 100 Edencom minor victories + fortresses where they shoot you around. Going to Pochven & shooting something that gets you dual standings is the best opt-out method (for the people who were clever enough to not āpick a side in an epic battle for the fate of the universeā when CCP invited them to, that is).
Well, if you mean one of the two eve university links, both of which I read, hereās what it says under triglavian roaming fleets:
" In Post-Chapter 3, Triglavian Roaming Fleets can also be found in systems in Triglavian minor victory systems, Pochven, and in systems which contain C729 Wormholes which lead to Pochven."
It doesnāt go beyond that as far as I can see and the Pochven link doesnāt go into it either. I usually regard eve university wikis as a pretty good source for info but I am a bit skeptical about things read in forum posts by players. It seems useful knowing of systems that wonāt have trigs dropping in. I already had a run in with them and it didnāt go well.
Well we are going to fight them off around jita affected sys , I have positive standings with Edencom so trigās shoot me anyway
Get your ship ready and join us next time , broadcast for action on the anti-ganking channel in game
Under the Pochven EVE Uni link is a link to the Unofficial guide to Pochven (External Links section) that lays out a ton of information about Trig behaviors post-Invasion, including a massive section on C729 Wormholes, which are the entry wormholes that link high- and low-sec systems within 3 jumps to their now-Pochven-region former neighbors.
Depends of situation. If you are neutral to Edencom - Pochven is an only option. In my case of starting from Edencom +3.8/ Triglavians -3.8 - Pochven will take forever, so you have to kill Edencom units in hisec as well to get both statuses moving faster.
ps. So far I can not see many benefits of getting high with Edencom - just some fashion you can sell for good isk
pps. triglavian loot is way better than Edencom
Well, yes, if you made the mistake taking part in the content before, itās different (like I said in my post, too). You are correct that at the moment thereās zero benefit to Edencom standing. The fashion handouts were a one-time thing.
Thanks. It is unofficial but it looks pretty good. A lot of work must have went into it. For anyone interested the guide also has list of the systems with entry wormholes which may make it easier to identify the systems.
With what fits? Other than a bulkhead fitted Freighter, they damn near insta-pop anything smaller.
We are putting together a fleet right now , battle cruisers and logi , sniper fit , it will be a group effort but if you see us fighting do join in.
Iāll make a post later with ships and fittings and how we get on
In addition to the Unofficial Manual we have recently put together a separate entry guide https://pochven.electusmatari.com/ with a schematic āmapā and Dotlan links for each of the entry areas. Enjoy. (Unofficial Manual has more info on what to actually do in Pochven etc.)
