So says a player whining about someone not being a white knight when you so obviously deemed that I was. Grow up…
Triggered!
I have no idea why you have deemed that I have presented myself as savior of PvE players. You seem rather mad about something not being true that you have decided defines me, grow up.
You’re the most obvious white knight ever. If you genuinely don’t have the self awareness to realize it then I feel sorry for you.
I have no idea why you have deemed that I have presented myself as savior of PvE players.
Because it’s in every post you make on the subject of ganking? It’s pretty funny, really. You’re not even smart enough to realize that as a loot thief you should be encouraging ganking. Every time a ship explodes it’s another chance for you to grab the loot and make ISK. But instead you sabotage your own income to be a white knight.
First you say I am, then you say I am not then you call me it again. You are obviously so confused that you are obviously unhinged and perhaps deranged about my play.
And you are not very smart to think that, but what can I expect about someone suffering from white knight derangement syndrome to such a degree that they blindly apply it to anyone who opposes gankers.
Yes, get a hic, and a ninja looter is what I meant by asking for a;
This above is a good response; I might have been unclear, I don’t want ganking to disappear. I like it, and it creates content, but the lack of resistance creates an unbalance arena.
*A personal example; * The year was 2015 or YC 117… . if I got a juicy freighter at the end of my Machariel and yelled out and asking for DPS, the cavalry would always come.
That is what I think is missing for the anti-ganking squad, lack of commitment, knowledge, organization.
But I have no experience at all about anti-ganking. I did blow-up Loyals fleet during the “Burn-Amarr” event with a smart bomb Megatron. But that is the closest I’ve been. I think I will try it out and see what it is all about if anybody wishes to join mail me in-game.
I have no idea where you could have decided that I deemed that you needed my permission to do this? I am merely suggesting that you put your money where your mouth is and succeed at it based on your opinion that there is something lacking in those that do it. So if you deem yourself better, go ahead and succeed. Tick tock…
Yep. And that’s how it will always be. Ganking has obvious incentives: killboard stats and loot. Anti-ganking, on the other hand, has no direct reward. You’re sacrificing your time and energy to white knight for someone who is probably AFK and not even aware that you’re helping them. So all of the people with commitment and knowledge and organization become gankers (or leave highsec), while anti-ganking only appeals to clowns like Dracvlad and Lucas Kell.
We elaborated that as well many times, why there is an asymmetry in commitment.
Ganking rewards in ISK, killmails, salt, stories which are strong drivers for EvE players.
Trying to prevent ganks rewards you nothing than the stale satisfaction to have prevented something nobody will see, remember nor thank you about.
IMO to fight ganks you need doing it the EvE way, with rewards of ISK, killmails and salt … and loot denial strategies are fitting this pattern and attract people. At least these are the reasons I’m doing it
And I have to say that it was Knowledgeminer who made me realise that loot denial was so important, prior to that I was spending more time in trying to prevent ganks and had left the loot side of things to others.
But Knowledgeminer has a point, loot denial only works for ganks with ISK in the motivation basket. Miner ganks, or ganking empty haulers just for the salt can’t be counter-played by loot denial.
I agreed with that above in terms of miner ganking, in any case with that it is actually quite easy to deal with if the ganker moves around certain systems. You can nab them on gates if they have a low security status and let Fac police finish them off. I tended to leave miners to defend themselves and did not really bother too much about those dying around me.
As for blowing up empty haulers, so they have ISK to burn doing that, fine by me if it reduces their capacity further over the long term.
I don’t understand why gankers think that anti-gankers think that they shoot mining ships for the loot, it is done because you can, though I have seen a number of gankers most notably baltec1 complain about the fact that there was no need to bling fit them and that they should be profitable to gank, what a loser, real gankers gank for fun. Oh and Ventures being especially easy, you should know…
