You intercepted her first Coercer (??? that’s being generous because you have 0 damage).
Then you failed to intercept her second Coercer.
She then successfully ganked a Ferox, she was going to die to CONCORD whether or not you intervened.
Stop lying.

Overall she lost two Coercers (worth less than 4 mil) for this Ferox.
You stopped nothing.
And our mighty Queen has you gripped in her beauty, otherwise you would not pursue her with such vigor.
The Queen does not reject your flattery.
And do not lie, you do not bore when observing us, for you entranced and in the full thralls of Her opulence and elegance.
Know that you are not alone among her secret admirers; know that you are not alone amongst those who gaze at her radiance from beyond the stars; know that she is the Center of All Things.
Your infatuation with the Princess is in fact: Normal.
Do not be ashamed. We all love her.

Oh I got a nice topic badge, pleased people enjoyed it , do stay tuned for my next adventure.
PS two people have asked me in-game if I’m a character named Ozzie, didn’t think people would remember him but no I’m not but I do know him in real and that’s where he’s tied up, one day he may return.
AG was fun with him around . Code even tried to bribe him with skill injectors and the Kurson fleet would gank him at every turn , he in fact got me into this after long hours sitting at camps in past lives.
AG and Ganker come and go it’s life, some return others fade into memory, last time I did this James 315 was just a name never seen, running other interesting characters I’m sure
, this time I have seen him in minerbumping many times, how things change, wars start and wars end but for the now my little group has returned , so Mr Kane I’ll try not to get bored with your insane ramblings and give you and AG the effort you deserve
Sorry that was a long ps, see you in space soon.
Would you mind bringing me up to speed with this Princess you talk about if you don’t mind and have time.
Congrats.
FYI, there is a CODE alt on the forums @Lucas_Kell claiming precisely that in each and every forum thread. Expect to see him come to do it in this thread too.
EDIT: Oh wait, he already did.
Oh, come on. We all know Lucas is a CODE alt by now. Why else would he try to make everybody believe that suicide ganking has no counterplay and that trying to oppose it is futile?

CODE: Roleplay, hurr durr!
Anti-CODE: We killed your Queen!
CODE: suddenly breaks character to explain the finer points of what really is and isn’t a valid kill
Typical sociopath behavior. Rules for thee, but not for me.

If no damage is done… then gank was not stopped. I can find on one of my alts a-g killing catalyst before concord arrived - funny thing is that retriever died anyway so the only thing saved (if at all) was pod. Was it effective? No. At least he tried (he was quite close to succeeding - if ret was properly fit it would have survived).
It is one thing to try to stop gankers from succeeding, and another when you talk about succeeding despite having no effect at all.
congratz. Up the success rate and you can start talking about being effective
Good luck with that xD There is a reason why industrialists and traders are nastiest pvpers out there - 'cuz we participate on all 4 fronts of this ‘war’ and you don’t get notification for each time you lose.

Assuming you really believe what you’re saying and aren’t roleplaying here, the killmail can be misleading if you don’t know how to correctly interpret it. It may make you believe you’re being effective in situations where you really aren’t. You need to learn to recognise when you’re not being effective in order to learn what you need to do better or just differently.
A damage dealing killmail with CONCORD in it indicates you failed to kill the ganker before CONCORD arrived, which in turn means your presence made absolutely no difference to the outcome of the gank, regardless of whether the victim did actually survive or not. This is what’s commonly called as CONCORD whoring and you do really need to realise those kills are meaningless.
There is nothing wrong with shooting gankers that way if you do it for fun, to practise, to collect bounties, or whatever, just don’t fool yourself into believing those kills have any relevance and hence don’t brag about them, there is nothing to brag about.
Note that I said damage dealing killmails. E-War killmails are another story and having CONCORD in them is normal and expected. It cannot be so easily determined whether such a kill was meaningful by just looking at the kill as in the case of damage dealing kills.
Also note that I’m talking about the presence of CONCORD in the kill. The presence of other type of NPCs such as faction police does by itself not mean the kill was meaningless.
Not exactly. In the case of damage dealing kills, what’s relevant is the mere presence of CONCORD in the kill, regardless of the damage done.
Even if damage done was 99%, if CONCORD is in the kill, it still indicates the ganker survived until CONCORD arrived and hence the presence of the anti-ganker made absolutely no difference.
And conversely, damage done could be 0, and the kill be meaningful if it was an E-War kill.

Fair enough. That brings to show another ship that can screw gankers far more than griffin:
[Crucifier, *Simulated Crucifier Fitting]
Signal Amplifier II
Signal Amplifier II
Signal Amplifier II
Tracking Disruptor II
Tracking Disruptor II
Tracking Disruptor II
Tracking Disruptor II
Small Tracking Diagnostic Subroutines II
Small Low Friction Nozzle Joints II
Optimal Range Disruption Script x4
With my skills (L5 in amarr frigate, L4 in ewar skills) I get 61% reduction to both optimal and falloff while having 101km of optimal range.
With all support skills at L5 void catalyst has 2531/4875 range (optimal/falloff). Applying just 2 tracking disruptors brings it down to roughly 600/1200 - 3rd one lowers it to 400/800. (quick math using 55/50/30 reduction). 4th disruptor will have minimal effect so could be replaced with sebo instead or with tracking disruption script. At that point catas will more often than not just graze/glance which effectively more than halfs (no penetrations/smashes!) dps w/o having to worry about RNG. On another hand if target is not tanked enough to survive even half the dps then tough luck. Information command burst can up the effectiveness by a notch or two as well

Tracking (optimal range, not actual tracking) disruption is another AG option, yes.
Pilgrim is great for that. Besides the cloak, it may add neuting capabilities to the TDs and instantaneously disable a ganking cat with 3 neuts that way. But yeah, Crucifier would be the TD entry level option equivalent to the Griffin for ECM.

Armageddon with mid rack full of heated sebos (800mm sensor)… can nearly instaneut 3 catas (should take less than 4s to lock dessie). Sadly can do the same to only one talos. Nice bonus is that it has enough optimal range on neuts to reach any ship on non-regional gate. And can fit enough tank to make one of worst gank targets ever.

Would the amarr destroy Dragon I think it’s called,be any use with its neuts or would that be just to small
You could easily figure that yourself as follows:
-
Simulate a typical ganking cat to check how much capacitor it has. It should give you about 800 GJ with good skills.
-
Check how much capacitor your neuts may drain in each cycle.
The Pilgrim works for this because each Medium Energy Neutralizer II in a Pilgrim drains 270 GJ (with L5 skills), so 3 of them drain 810 GJ, which is just the amount you need.
A Small Energy Neutralizer II in a Dragoon drains 55 GJ per cycle, so 5 of them (the maximum you may fit) would drain 275 GJ per cycle, which is not enough to deplete the cap of a cat in one go, maybe not even after 2 cycles and that cat having spent some of its cap by itself already, not sure about that.
Moreover, such a Dragoon would have to be sitting too close to the potential victim, becoming an easy target likely to be ganked itself.

A brick fit arbitrator is even more powerful, because they can’t even retaliate before CONCORD arrives.
Use Tech 2 disruptores with optimal range scripts and two subroutine rigs. See if you can get info ewar links. Each TD with overheat does over 90% range reduction (with good info links, up to 97%).
The counter of course is to sensor damp the Arb. Two damps with targeting range reduction scripts (with overheat) from any non bonused ship should suffice.

No point using the Pilgrim in High Sec. You can fit an Arbitrator with neuts and neut drones (EV-600) for the same effect since you don’t need to be cap stable. You’re cap only needs to last as long as the gank.
Also use overheat on the tracking disruptors, neuts and your own 1600mm + active hardener armor tank.
Always think in terms of “heat” and “cost effectiveness” in a 10-30 second spurt when it comes to ganking/antiganking…because EVERYONE is going to overheat in a CONCORD situation. Why a Pilgrim over a T1 Arb in such a brief encounter?
Man, the question is why would you fly an Arbitrator instead of a Pilgrim if you have the skills for the latter, other than to reduce the cost:
- Pilgrim may cov ops cloak.
- Pilgrim can be used to neut a cat in addition to TD, as I explained already.
- Pilgrim has 1 more mid slot.
You may fit neuts in an Arbitrator too, yes, but it doesn’t have the drain amount and range bonuses that the Pilgrim has for that…

Just a note: When you are the gank target (not necessarily of code but just a random guy who gets mad at you for salvaging their wrecks or stealing their stuff or shooting them with fireworks or whatever) you might get on a CONCORD killmail as well sometimes with minimal damage still but I consider those KMs fully earned as are a result of your mindgames and whatnot other actions. Had that happen several occasions on some of my characters.

And how are they going to retaliate against crucifier that is 50km away?
