That fee exists for a reason. It’s so that market traders won’t change their prices by .00000000001 ISK every five seconds in order to have the lowest price.

You must have missed out on the years of the .000000001 ISK trade wars. When CCP implemented the relisting fee and limited how many zeros you could put in front of it, the outcry from traders was probably heard in deepest regions of the known universe…

Charging broker fees before the item has sold and not offering a refund if it doesn’t is scammy
It’s a fee, not a sale. Fees are very rarely refundable. The broker did their job that you are paying them to do.
He simply doesn’t understand that the owner/provider of the digital market infrastructure has to feed his children too, no matter if the seller has asked a price so greedy that he won’t sell anything.
He just doesn’t think of the children!
