It appears CCP has added a entry for the Paragon Hub to the NES.
Would I be alone in wanting this turbulent icon gone from sight?

You’re just noticing this?
People whined for years to have the ability to make their own skins. Now that they got what they asked for and it’s a complete disaster, they can’t be arsed to make any.
CCP got caught with their pants down once again by listening to the vocal minority. Now they’re desperately trying to get people interested in it by shoving it your face every chance they get.
They’ll never learn.

I think people are making SKINs—but only for themselves. Most people aren’t selling SKINs because the Paragon Hub is a poorly designed marketplace.
I think it’s more accurate to say that CCP caught wind of an idea that could work, but then destroyed it with their usual combination of p1ss-poor implementation and greed.
Monocle-gate. Walking in Stations. Resource Wars. Paragon/Evermarks/skins.
As you say, they never learn from their failures.
(Note: to be clear, I don’t think trying to make money on a decent implementation is greed. That’s just good business. Greed is when you do only half a job, get it wrong, and then try to charge double what it’s worth anyway. Which is what CCP keeps doing.)
Indeed. And these are just the tip of a very large iceberg.
If there’s one thing CCP is good at, it’s starting things. What they’re bad at is everything that follows that.

To be fair, it’s a pain in the arse to make them, the UI is absolute dog chod.
