It’s hard to make predictions without more knowledge, but let’s throw out some hypotheticals. Some of the big alliances have thousands of members. Gonna throw a random number out, 5,000? We happy with that number? They only really field fleets of 500 or so. Assume they have twice that, that’s 1 capital per 5 members, or 20%. Say you’re a smaller group of oh, 500. If you want to be competitive on the capital scene, or really even claim and hold any sov at all, you’re probably going to need field what? 200? And have that much in reserve? So, 80%?

Anyone want to clean up my numbers a little? The point is that a small group doesn’t have economies of scale working on their side. But if OP had any idea how economics worked, this thread wouldn’t exist, so, maybe this post is pointless.
