Using Alts to "Win" a Fight

While I love the concept of honor especially in regards to knights, chivalry or bushi, the reality is that it’s a rarity IRL and that is reflected in EVE.

In a combat environment, if you are expecting or hoping “something” will happen, ie a fair/honorable fight, then you have already lost.

You generally don’t go into a fight thinking, I want to lose this one and neither is the other person and to that regard, all parties will do what they can within the rules of the environment to gain the advantage…to what degree is the “moral” question but even then that’s mostly pointless.

ie…in a 1v1 fight, if you learnt that you have 20M SP more than the other guy in a equal ship, would you back down as you have an unfair advantage? Of course not.

While baiting is agreeably cheap and dickish, the end goal is to win as it is in any conflict. If you were tricked then you lost; it’s as simple as that.
