Any updates with the new font?
Another vague statement. Time to go killing some drones and find out the changes on my own.
On font changes, I think it could be worse, since the current JP client is the worst of all. (Expected to be revamped, though.) Experiences may vary for different graphics and display settings; the bold one looks very blurry for me, less blurrier than KR fonts but still. It feels like EVE Sans Neue font family doesnāt have a separate Bold variant, and forces thickening the normal one instead.
Anything happening about this @CCP_Dopamine. It is still showing the same as day 1
Iāve ran a second drone site after downtime.
Correctly, as required.
No standings increase.

Excuse me for bugging you, but Iām trying to make sense of whatās going on.
Could you please make this whole mess more transparent?
Before I go spending months ā¦
⦠doing nothing else but slaughtering literally thousands of EDENCOM ships ā¦
⦠for silly gains of 0.001 per ship ā¦
⦠Iād like to know if thereās not something I could do which wonāt deteriorate my mental health.
Seriously, to reach 7.0 Iād apparently need to destroy at least SEVEN THOUSAND of them.
Thatās nuts by any squirrel-measure I can come up with.
gaining standings was never easy or fast?
Missions disagree with you.
nope, I did them long ago to get a good standing in Jita.
Take a breath and start farming
I fear this may be working as intended⦠because thatās exactly the sort of standing āboostā youād see when running the sites back during the invasion, and it took literally months of grinding to get decently high standings. I know of a few corp mates that participated in the entire invasion effort (multiple liminalities, 12+ hr sessions) and have just managed to hit +7.
There was one special case, the Dread site (I forget itās name), which would give a much larger bump (I want to say 0.24) but these werenāt as readily available as the roaming fleets or non-dread sites.

Cypr3ss.
What do you mean ⦠ānopeā ?
Gaining faction standing can be done really quickly by various means.
Thereās even a guide for that.
Gaining corporation standings can be done really quickly by running missions.
It is, at least relatively speaking, considerably faster gaining standings for anything else than triglavians. Iād at least like to know how to progress now. Iām not whining about not wanting to do what is necessary, but I believe that at least some clarity needs to be provided.
Iām already trying to figure out how to cut the time short. Itās still absolutely nuts, considering the miniscule increase.
If you can tell me a faction/corp ā¦
⦠where it requires to kill one thousands NPCs to gain 1.0 standing ā¦
⦠then please do tell.
By all I know, gaining standings for triglavians seems - relatively speaking - damn slow. I can understand why, sure, but I believe Iām in a position to ask at least for some clarity.
I can understand that.
All I really want is clarity.
First they say we can do this, then they say we canāt do this,
then someone else said we can do it anyway,
and today the game says āNope itās pointless to even try.ā
Writing this made me laugh, but itās hilarously unacceptable.
Iād like to report an inconsistency.
I believe the Drifters would have set the Triglavians to -10, no?
And when Rogue Drones are set to -5 ā¦
⦠why does shooting Rogue Drones not reward with a standings boost?
Very well put
Just curious and I DID read what I could find, Are hisec astro fields NOT renewing daily now or bug? ( the regular fields)
Inaudible.
LOL
illegible
Because all fonts are inaudible.
Just so you know, after liking your post the forums thanked me for spreading the love ā¦
⦠and that, for today (24h? Until midnight?) I only have a few more Likes available to give.
So Love is okay ā¦
⦠but too much Love isnāt.
Would lovingly hugging you to death balance it out?
Iāll accept it. Death by loving hugs sounds like a decent way to go.
(Re: the autopilot option to avoid all Minor Victory system, Trig AND Edencom, CCP_Dopamine said theyād look at changing it to only avoid the ones you have negative standings in).
It would seem obvious that it should have been written that way in the first place, surely? Just imagine youāre a player with positive standings to one side, but not the other, youād want your autopilot to only avoid the other sides systemsā¦which designer specified this feature to be built to avoid BOTH at the same time?! What possible reason would they have for that?
Some serious questions need to be asked about this whole shebang. The idea of being blown up on gate by random fleets makes moving through hi-sec much harder than it should be. I build and haul stuff to a market but have to pass a Trig MV systemā¦I have trig standings but Iām told roaming Edencom fleets might catch me on gate and blap me.
So Iām not building/moving anything for now. And no, Iām not going to get on comms and organize a fleet, or get eyes on the gate before I jump.
Itās really a shame that someone at CCP thought that forced PvE was a good idea.
Looking around in RO-0PZ, I donāt see enough ore represented in the asteroid belts and ore anomalies to maintain the industry index at anything above 2. Empty asteroid belts, or belts with 2-4 asteroids containing 600-1,000 m3 just doesnāt cut it. Did CCP think about that when cutting so far back on the amount of ore that spawns in nullsec?
And thatās just talking volume, without even addressing the new trend toward scripted management of our so-called āplayer-driven sandboxā MMO. I understand that CCP wants to see more interaction across security domains, and wants to introduce a new faction and force interaction with it by making it the best source of tritanium in the universe, but how do you square this hamfisted forcing of behavior with the idea of āplayer-driven sandboxā? This is what Iād expect out of other developers who care more about their developersā ideas than about player enjoyment (forcing more play in dungeons/raids, or pvp, because their developers put so much time into it; destroying player crafting because players were putting time into it instead of enjoying the content created by developers; requiring nonsense exploration and reputation achievements to unlock the ability to use a flying mount in a new area because developers spent so much time on the design of the new area).
One thing I used to like about Eve was that the sandbox mostly made sense - but universal ore changes to force interaction with an invading faction requires either that we throw out the āconsistently logicalā attribute or accept that the Triglavians have the godlike ability to transform resource availability throughout the universe yet cannot claim more than 27 systems.
