In the new event sites, for the Capsuleer Event, you can’t loot the “Historic Capsuleer Day Clothing Crate” because it tells you you can’t but it in your “cargo container”. Even if you don’t have one in your ship.

We are aware that the “Historic Capsuleer Day Crate”, which was added in todays downtime, cannot be looted. This issue will be resolved tomorrow at downtime

After today’s update, the sound cuts out a second or so upon reaching the character selection screen. Any attempt to restart the sound immediately hard freezes the client requiring an end task.
Just to make sure: Did you give it some time because it usually takes a bit of time for the sound engine to restart during which the client is stuck and depending on how old the computer is it might take even longer I assume.
I built my machine in 2020, Ryzen 5 3600X, 64 GB 3600 ram, GeForce 1080 Ti, restarting audio usually takes 5-10 secs, I waited over a minute, the client was hard frozen.
Currently playing without sound, hopefully the next patch will fix whatever broke.
Did you try restarting the sound engine while logged into the game? Does it freeze there too?
Yeah, immediate hard freeze, even uninstalled and reinstalled my audio drivers. Still hard freezes.
I see then yeah nothing I can think of so hopefully CCP resolves it soon. Might be worth submitting a bug report in-game too if you haven’t did so yet maybe it will help them figure it out sooner.
Update: I have used the verify integrity function in the launcher and then restarted the launcher. Shortly after restarting it began to redownload today’s 1 GB patch. After it finished, I launched the client and the sound was working. I restarted the sound a couple to make sure it wouldn’t crash and all seems to be working now.
My guess would be that something in the downloaded files got corrupted the first time I downloaded the patch shortly after downtime. I live in a small rural town with pretty abysmal internet and have been having regular DCs from my ISP, so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if a dc happened when it was downloading the patch. (Century Link is so horrible and they have a complete monopoly in my area)
Glad it got resolved.
After downloading and installing latest update, there’s no Audio / music playing in-game now.

Yes, I verified all downloaded files in the Launcher, also cleared all cache files in Esc menu as well as run a diagnostic check / repair app on my computer.
Currently I have no station sounds or music when docked in station. However when the starmap is opened in station, I can hear station sounds and music. Also there’s no music when undocked in space…
Wow that’s some weird glitch. For me often some sounds like explosions are not heard but most everything else is working while sometimes even those work or on different account so sound issues are a thing since a long time and I constantly see people mention such too so likely not just an exceptional case.
Try submitting a bug report maybe they can see from the details what might be the issue for your specific client or something.
This issue just started today after I installed the recent Launcher update…

Mac OSX Game Client Computer Freeze on Black Screen
Since 25/04/2023, the game client freeezes or crashes on Start-up Black Screen - which neatly corresponds to a bug fix for “Mac Client: Fixed a rare client crash”.
You may have fixed one, but you created another - and i’m not the only one experiencing this.
I have 3 outstanding tickets on this and NO ONE has replied to me - Shame on you !!
