I’m not buying 150 Rifters. I’ll stick with 10K shuttles. If I ever do go with a frigate transport, I go Atron instead anyway.
The advancement of the Daily Goal graphic happens when you complete the actual activity, not when you click the Claim All button. Which doesn’t make sense because players are not looking at their Daily Goal window when the activity is completed. They are looking at the Daily Goal window when they Claim. This leads players to falsely believe - like me - that their Daily Goal advancement was not working. This should be “fixed”. Graphical track advancement should be done right before player’s eyes when they Claim/Claim All.
Missions are not all being properly tracked in the info panel hud. This includes some mission in the Career Agents. Some missions that clearly have a Warp to or Destination set are not appearing in the Sisters of Eve Epic Arc. In Rookie Help we are having to tell a bunch of other players to find their mission in Opportunities again, and toggle the track/untrack button until they see the mission displayed again in the hud panel. Duplication: All you have to do is play a set of Career Agents or SOE, and see which missions do not appear in the HUD panel.
Only just had this, so might be already reported…
In a fully upgraded (T2 Rig) Azbel, the Avalanche is not identified as a ‘Capital Ship’ (works with an Apostle put in at the same time) and thus the build time is ~90% longer than it should be.
You don’t really need that many spread over to notice the difference with time saving.
Do an experiment yourself and set a stopwatch between two regions.
Numerous times over the course of the last few days i have been rolling a wormhole and the “selected item” window stops updating the distance to the wormhole. This results in me having to click the wormhole in the overview after i have fully come out of warp or the enter wormhole/jump button remains unclickable.
i havent been able to succesfully determine the series of events that leads to this state yet.
it may be happening at other times, and im only noticing it while rolling due to the need to activate my prop mod once im out of warp (i.e. normally i would just click the jump button once on grid at the perch.
none of those groups then even begin to compare to the size of the imperium now, or pandafam now, yet they somehow pulled off regular news media making battles
It was comparable back then in terms of numbers:

To put it another way, inflating up not only allows small alliances to grow to a point they can compete, it also allows newbros to catch up. Using a ridiculous example here which would never work as it would totally undermine the effort people put in to become space-rich:
- Imagine CCP did a Blizzard / Mythic Entertainment (DAOC) and implemented a numbers squish.
- Made 1,000,000,000 ISK = 1 MegaIsk to provide headroom to keep numbers meaningful e.g. Mythic style with introduction of Platinum in DAOC.
- Now a vet with 1t ISK is worth 1000 MegaIsk. Titans are now 200 MegaIsk
- You then make newbro content like high sec missions reward 1 MegaIsk.
All of a sudden newbros can gain parity with vets extremely quickly. Would totally ■■■■ on vets like me who spent years building our advantage so they would never do it, but hopefully explains why most MMO developers INFLATE UP to balance an economy and make it fair for small players/alliances to reach parity to compete.
That is what the rorq meta achieved. It allowed TEST and others to reach parity e.g. my UALX TEST vs PL example. If supercaps were 15b and titans 50b again, you’d see an incredibly vibrant null sec meta with the big wars springing up again and new alliances growing.
If you listened to senior figures at the time, you may have heard @Merkelchen saying “let’s raise the levels and continue on our merry way”. Summed it up well for me.
However by deflating down income relative to supercap prices, a new player/alliance won’t rise up again - or if they try, they have a 400-500% longer grind to do it so it won’t take 1-2 years (TEST use case), more like 8-10! That reinforces the blue donut, not great unless you want null to be Goons vs Horde.
CCP could have introduced super titans that required multiple titan hulls, pitched those at a 250b price point, remove resources en masse that way. Crucially make the benefit of a super titan something which isn’t combat strength projection.
Seeing it in all Help Chats, and across all missions.
Exploration trackers, also.
after todays dt eve has forgotten compact mode and other stuff. nice…
Hi,
Got FPS drop when entering systems with Skyhook or Unclaimed Systems, when entering systems that don’t have Skyhook, FPS comes to normal
So whats the problem?
Its almost every day and almost always without patch notes. There is a whole other thread Launcher Updates tracking this and not a word from CCP or the ISD.
And why would you need to know what changed in the client?
You don’t even get half the picture anyway, since the gameplay stuff is mostly happening on the server and for that you have not even seen any changelogs and also you seem to not bother for it, but only for the client side, which is only displaying stuff.
If a game mechanic really changes, then they will make a changelog for you.
When the update is 3 Mbytes, w/e. When its 30 Mbytes, ok, I guess something little needed a tweak. When the ‘daily’ patch is regularly closer to 200 Mbyte? Or a few days after a major release, another 600 Mbyte patch?
Lot of changes, but still can’t get an accurate display of drone damage status whilst tethered on a citadel.
Mainly because it’s unknown data being downloaded into our personal computers… and CCP needs to show what’s being downloaded.
Most people don’t like having unknown data constantly being downloaded into their computers. I definitely don’t and there’s plenty of others who feel the same way about it…
What turns unknown data into known data? Do you expect a patch note stating “this is with bad intent” and then based on that patch note you start deleting EVE? Or are you sleeping very well with a patch note of “all is good and green” and you are not analyzing the 600mb patch yourself on the binary level?
This is closed source software, i’m afraid you have to trust it or don’t use it. No patch note on earth will be declaring what each bit in a patch does. This is even true for Microsoft and Steam patches. If you seriously uphold that argument, you need to delete your Windows right away and setup a Gentoo or a NetBSD with pkgsrc and read all actual source code if it is ok for you before you then follow on to compile it.
@CCP_Bee I cant open fuel or stront bays on a POS, it opens for a split second before closing itself, while it is still reachable through the active ship inventory tree list
