Ccp put out the data that showed players were far more likely to stick around if they were killed within their first few weeks.

It’s called docking.

Eve is a 100% pvp game. There is no activity that does not put you in direct competition with other players. What would be worse for new players is giving them the illusion it is anything else.

Interested in the data about that- would you know where that is do you? Or at least point me in a direction? I’ve always loved big data and it seems ccp is pretty open with theirs.

Thank you both- interesting read. Felt like the intro into the game was great considering the learning curve. Career agents were excellent intro.
