So I took a Raven Brawler fit good shields and 718 dps
and could not complete the site. Just had constant spawns of enemy npc’s lost 2 of the three grids and the last grid i ran out of time, as soon as i killed the last one, another group spawned in. The main stay npc;s were not too bad, it was the eletes. They took a bit.
So, are these not meant to be ran with T1 hulls and T2 equip? or am i missing something?
Just spent over 250 mill for the hull and fit.
With a single ship you have to continuously jump back and forth between the grids. I’ve done several complete sites with a Marauder - but I don’t necessarily recommend it in anything less. Having fast align and warp speed helps a bit, too - as do modules to apply damage (webs, target painters, tracking, guidance, etc.)
You can probably do it with a Marauder and T2 equipment - but I’m not sure a T1 hull is able to apply enough DPS (my Marauder puts out over 4000+ DPS in Bastion).

You probably want 3x T2/T1 hydraulic rigs, 2x T2 MGCs and 3x BCS. And the +5 missile implants.
I did it in a T2 Kronos, grappler, web and 2x TCs. Warp to zero is the best method.

Think of it as 2500 million (just add another 0). You can make 100m ISK per site, so it’s easy to recoup fairly quickly.

Ran a second one, and i am doing better. This time i just stay till the site is secured and then if there r others i warp to them.

These sites are meant to be done with a group, it can be solo’d sure, but designed for a group.

Most event combat sites, no matter the event, are not meant for new or solo players. It’s always been that way.

So i will admit it, I thik i was doing it wrong. I tried to go from one part to another BEFORE securing. That is wrong. now i can do 2 of the 3 sites 95% of the time. easy peasy

Did you have implants? Decent fitting? You are going to struggle with event content with a T1 hull and T2 fittings. I did the Christmas event in a Praxis due to my Marauder being effectively excluded from the event and it was a grind.
i put the fitting in the forums post. and to be honest, it wasn’t all that hard, AFTER I figured out that you had to secure one before you went to the other sites, that worked for me 99% of the time, one time I had to go to another site or i would had only secured one site. That time, I left when Site A was at 288 Went to Site B and killed everything and waited till reinforcement NPCs arrived then went and secured A, and Then went and secured B.
Skills help out a Lot
