So anyway.
Much of what I can say to this thread has already been responded to by our friends and allies on our behalf. As we in fact have union members within our ranks who work for Chatelain Rapid Response I would encourage you, in the spirit of maintaining good labor relations, to reach out to me or our Warden privately. We would be happy to explain the nature of the Accords in greater detail if there’s any ambiguity there.
More to the point, I would like to again point to the fact that Chatelain Rapid Response’s obligation is primarily to their clients and not to the needs of labor. Granted, this is to be expected. Employers and employees will forever have a conflict of interests. I hope, however, you can understand that the Bosena Accords is capable of functioning as an auxiliary that can provide for the needs and wellbeing of the warclones under your payroll in a way that you may be unable or unwilling to provide. Yes, part of that involves matters of collective bargaining but given I have never heard a single complaint from our members under CRR I doubt that’s a concern that should put us at odds.
I’ll put it this way. As many of our allies have pointed out our structure cloning facilities as well as easy logistical access to biomass facilities in Tunudan are more than enough for us to fabricate clones for operations organized under our administration team as needed. (Namely towards the war on Skarkon.) Our interest in stabilizing the now greatly destabilized warclone market is more in the interest of being able to continue to manage logistics and provide low-cost equipment for warclone contractors across New Eden than our strategic goals and vision. There are well documented cases of a prohibitively expensive market for warclone blanks and equipment leading to an overall lower quality of life for warclones. One of the chief functions of the Bosena Accords is to alleviate these pressures for the augmented workers of the cluster.
In an anonymous interview one mercenary said, “Fifteen days without pay would bankrupt me. The cost of biomass has skyrocketed ever since they started outsourcing privateers; they just die so much. It’s fine if you lose a couple of clones, but if you get into a prolonged battle where you die a lot you have to pay the difference out of pocket. It isn’t worth it.”
Economists explained that the increase in the cost of biomass is a response to independent mercenaries leaving Molden Heath for greener pastures. In search of work, many freelancers have returned to former employment with contracting agencies within the empires. Destitute, they still cling to brazen, often suicidal tactics that prove impractical against the highly organized and trained forces within the core worlds. Often carrying the burden of many deaths, the availability of biomass provided by local markets dwindles, and the cost increases. The increased cost consequently affects all mercenaries.
Supporting the Bosena Accords in our efforts to stabilize the warclone market and provide our own low-cost services that allow independent warclones to operate doesn’t just improve the quality of life for those that chose not to sign on to an empire private military contractor. It also reduces your own overhead costs and allows us the opportunity to take pressure of your own employees and services.
It’s very much a win-win, if you’re willing to work with us on basic standards dictating what the warclone community deems fair compensation for their work.
