Warning-less Auto-Subscription Renewal - Now I can't pay Rent

Thanks for taking this forward. I just checked my account page, and it was not 100% clear whether my account is on auto-renewal or not. It tells me subscription, and that it ends in 2019 (precise date/time), but no indication about what happens after that date. I’m pretty sure I canceled the automatic last time I extended the sub.

A bit more clarity on status would be welcome. Also a more prominent message “warning” that your Omega time will end without renewal could even help retention.

I’ve been there… the $25 McDonalds Cheeseburger. going $0.06 into the red.

Overdraft protection has since saved me many such headaches.

Side rule, but it would have fixed this issue.

ALL internet purchases should be made on a CC that you don’t need for any other purpose, that you can shut down without hassle and that has a low limit.

If someone scams your VISA you can call them and get the charge reversed, once money is gone from your checking account it is just plain gone. If you get scammed you MIGHT get your bank to refund the money, 6 months later.

Indeed! o7 Falcon!

You only needed to put another 35c in.

Please do, I avoid paying for subscription time on some of my accounts, literally because of the annoyance of having to actively unsubscribe to avoid auto billing slipping in (and it has! But customer support were excellent in handling it).

So those less used accounts don’t get subbed on impulse any more, so that saves me money, that’s good right?

A simple single payment/ recurring payment checkbox is all that’s needed.

Thanks.
