Another benefit of Omega is that you could use a cloak on your T1 haulers, making it safer to move even that Miasmos around.
Now if you don’t want to or cannot get Omega I understand that, but there are safer ways to move your gas around than to do it in a T1 hauler and blame warp core stabilizers, methods that even an Alpha clone can do: put up a courier contract. Or fly faster ships, like a cargo Sunesis.
I think we can conclude this thread with “warp core stabilizers are not the issue, the issue is that Alpha clones only have limited access to all the tools that are available in this game”.
A more fitting analogy is if you were to complain that air conditioning is useless and only once people talk to you about the advantages of air conditioning you tell them you’re homeless.
I don’t see how an interdiction nullifier is relevant here?
An interdiction nullifier wouldn’t have saved his Miasmos from a gank and neither would an interdiction nullifier have saved his Alligator from the scripted point or scram of a heavy interdictor in LS. Connor didn’t die to bubbles, at least not in recent cases.
T1 Warp stabs and Interdiction nullifiers are active for 10s, if activated too early or align to warp is more than 10s (Miasmos) they will be ineffctive. Try to bring align times down on Miasmos with Nanofibre or Inertial stabs.
Just because the answers aren’t agreeing with you doesn’t mean they’re wrong.
Warp core stabilizers are strong when they work, just don’t rely on them to save you when people suspect you to use warp core stabilizers because it’s not hard to counter warp core stabilizers by using additional modules or pricier modules.
Warp Stabs no good, waste of Isk. Align fast or die, period. EVE cutthroat, your ship will go BOOM, dont cry go buy another one and be more careful next time.
of course warp stabs work, but they only offer +1, even combined with an Interdiction disruptor (+1) they will not work agst multiple warp scramblers/disruptors or a single Sansha unless fitted on a ship with buildin war stab (Venture, Blockade Runners, Metamorphosis etc) or Immunity (shuttles).
Most defensive modules useless. Made useless on purpose so more ships destroyed. That is why must fly cheap ships with cheap modules so when ship goes BOOM not many tears, just move on with another cheap ship.
I mine with Venture only and cheap or NO modules but Miner |
I get free Venture from agents, create alt for career agents to get free stuff then biomass alt and create more.
Mine for free, not scared to lose ship.
Easy peasy.
most of us have used warp core stabs and we’ve come to the conclusion that they’re nigh on useless except in a few edge cases. and even then, they’re still largely useless.
you’ve been given some good advice in this thread. don’t toss it out because it’s not what you expected.
Ive never seen “deadly” and “hisec” used in the same sentence. Yes there are suicide gankers but in hisec, you van visit dozens oreveb hundreds of systems without coming across them.
Dont use auto-pilot. Watch your surroundings. Use D-scan to see what ships arw nearby or in your path. Easy stuff.
Low sec and Null and WH space, that is where you will get attacked the most, especially on high/low and high/null and low/null gates.
Nullifiers and stabs are great and useful, as well as ECM drones.
I see a lot of people who have been playing for months/years and all they do is follow direct paths to different stations or deadspace. There is so much more room in each system. You dont always have to take the easiest path. Be aware and you will survive.
This simply isn’t true. HS is by far the highest risk space to move through do to the much higher volume of people and the fact that you’re restricted in how you can proactively defend yourself. WH and NS especially are the two safest areas of space, especially deep in coalition space.
Just take a look at a heat map of ships destroyed. Why people stay in hs at all i don’t understand
