Warp Stabs

What, do you really believe that?

Try gating a freighter unscouted through low or null sec.

I doubt you’ll survive.

High sec is less risky, people do it there all the time.

The reason the heatmap shows more ships destroyed and we see so many HS deaths is because HS is less risky so people gate freighters all the time, which gives gankers the opportunity to kill freighters more often than people can kill gating freighters elsewhere in the game. Other parts of the game are simply too dangerous to frequently find unscouted freighters to kill.

The high heatmap of ships destroyed in HS is a result of many more people playing in the least risky part of the game.

Please don’t forget ‘per capita’ in your statistics when you compare relative safety of HS to other parts of the game.

I used to move freighters through ls all the time as it was the only static we had. Got to the point that we didn’t care where the whole opened so long as no system had a concentration of pilots from the same faction/ alliance. So long as you have webs you’re generally able to get a freighter through before anyone can react.

And you’re not going to find many preset camps or people looking like you do in HS

Iv lost more freighters in hs than low.

As for unsecured null theirs a reason i pointed to coalition space. That’s quite literally the safest place in eve and freighters are used there pretty regularly. Same with WH space back before ccp killed wh mining we had entire Ops with one just sitting there.
