Was I killed in High-Sec by a player using propagation software?

The unique charm of the Eve forums on display.

I am trying to wrap my head around what has been said here. Some player bought 21 omega accounts to make a massive fleet and took out @Tiara_Nalelmir because they put all their eggs into one basket?

If this was 21 omegas by one player, $420 per month, obviously a trust fund baby. Otherwise 21 alphas all by the same player is a banable offense correct?

What I also question is how are they running this all on one machine? This has to be done on a server farm running broadcast software as @Aisha_Katalen suggested. I have been seeing a lot more people in high security with numbers after their names (e.g. Bob25 Bob26 etc.) the groups are about 20 names. I thought these might have been someone at CCP testing the game in various locations. Also I saw a group emerge from a station and they all drop cargo containers. I peeked at one to find the standard corvette equipment inside. Anyone know why they would even do this?

I know of nothing that will help in this matter. You have to trust CCP to do their best. I never have to question kills, since I carry nothing of any value. I do often wonder about people’s motivation to play in such a manner.

Have fun!

The screenshot (that should not have been uploaded here) and the comment was removed by the system. Thanks to staff for helping me with that.

Hawk knew that people would be moving through the pipe because the new incursion spawn was down the pipe and was waiting for any bowheads to get through. He was not looking out for me. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. No beef between me and the dude.

You know hurts what them the most? Being ignored :stuck_out_tongue: They would love responses. Dont hand them their candy!

You may have fooled @Dracvlad, but what you are upto is clear as night.

You are not as innocent as you pretend to be.

OK, here we go…

Can’t be alpha’s, they were using a weapon that required them to be Omega accounts.

It is doable, you turn all the clients to the lowest settings. As for the cargo containers, was that in the warp in to the station, they might have wanted to decloak someone for the tonado’s to get a shot at a BR.

The motivation, yeah, I wondered more on how the hell they keep motivated, and in fact most burn out. The motivation is simple, it is being a big ass killer in terms of ISK and number of kills, it makes them feel good at a guess, at least while they are not bored by it, but they do earn a huge amount of ISK doing it, serious amounts, it is perhaps the most profitable multi-boxing you can do in game by a huge margin. There was one guy called Australian Excellence, I kid you not who boasted about being an alpha male doing it, not realising that an alpha male would not need to boast like that.

I just had fun typing this o7

I am being accused of being fooled over something when I answered the question on input broadcasting and giving the player concerned the heads up. Not bothered about anything else, but if it rocks your boat:

I like that GIF!!! scary as feck…

I’d understand wanting to achieve things in a game. Its definitely something I’d aspire but that does not make me an alpha in anyway. Well to each his own. On the other hand without ganking, game will die. It is a necessary evil so I always been in peace with the ganking part in Eve. Also do not worry about the attention seeker, looks like the person feels the need to compensate in the forums for everything they miss IRL

I was not talking about being an alpha male in regards to you. And the first comment was about alpha accounts, just to clarify, I was a mite confused with your post on that.

Ganking is part of the game as you said. In fact your gank was on a ship that can be tanked nicely, has the ability to align fast with a BS MWD and the only suspicious part was whether he was input broadcasting or not which is always a question, I often wonder about loot scoops, but you know, as I am not actively involved in any AG I don’t tend to think about it much, fun thing was they lost big time on that gank due to the loot fairy being stingy, yay!!!

Good on you for not being fazed, but please use a scout and when they are active wait for some other poor bugger to get shot before moving through, that is how I do it!!!

Ohh I understood you were talking about a player named Australian Excellence. I was also lost on how he felt like an Alpha. So I was talking about my thoughts on it. Yeah, I am thinking about how to get back up from this fall. Ill get there its just a matter of time!

You can buy plex with ISK, and since gank chars don’t need to be trained to infinity, you can sell injectors to offset the cost of plexing the account.

It’s the opposite, the variance increases with your chance to hit.

with 1% chance to hit all your damage will be crits, so 300%.
with 100% your range will be from 51% to 300% of your damage, with segment 150-300 being removed

That being said, you are right regarding the the salvo damage.

That’s literally what people who are using bot add (random delay to each actions).

He was a player, Tiara. A long (EVE) time ago…

He was a very competent ganker, and could be quite amusing my joke aside, in fact he was the one who caused me the most issues when passing through Uedama.

I only mentioned him because Princess mentioned motivation, and he was the only ganker that publicly said on the forums that he was having issues with motivation, when people finally began to realise that AU TZ had a very effective ganker and sending freighters AFK filled to the brim with goodies was not a good idea. He ran out of juicy targets.

Not a scary as @Destiny_Corrupted though eh?

They were 21 alphas, you should contact CCP asap. We must end this carnage in highsec.

You owe us money.

Any other questions?

Who?..
