Wasted training time!

Just because you suck at a game does not mean it was made for dumbasses

Just because you suck at this game doesn’t mean it needs to be changed from the ground up. Again, I rest my case…

Goddamn troll

Subbing for 4 months and doing nothing does not make you better at the game. But it does allow you to fly for example marauder. But sub 4 months first, because reasons.

The game should have an “'Pitchfork’ Communication Scrambler” device, which is charged by zKill points. Each zKill point you invest charges 1% power. Once you have 100% power you can target another player and activate the device. If the target is hit by 3 such scrambling strikes within a day from 3 different other players, he gets “Comm Scrambled”, means he cannot create topics or reply at the forums for 7 days. I believe this would increase player cooperation, lower moderation effort and would be very popular in general.

Bingo card has been updated

Perhaps you are right. Perhaps people who play EVE do believe they are playing a sophisticated game made by smart people.
Whether they believe they are playing a sophisticated game made by smart people BECAUSE it costs $15-$20 a month is a Complex Equivalence. Perhaps they believe it based upon evidence other than the cost, it might be worth your consideration that you (Not a professional game industry analyst) do not know or understand what might make ‘a portion’ of EVE’s player base believe this if in fact any believe this statement of yours at all.

Secondly, you believe it (that EVE is sophisticated and expensive) AND it angers you that you believe it. That much is evident by your recognition of, resistance to, and self-loathing regarding the possibility.

It certainly angers you that you recognise that and it angers you because you hold yourself in high esteem and yet you’re not enjoying this so called ‘sophisticated’ and expensive experience.
You think that you have good taste and an eye for value and yet EVE which players claim is both those things does not feel that way to you.
How can it be possible that this game is regarded by so many loyal (if in some ways dissatisfied) fans as sophisticated and valuable be so if when you play it you feel left out?

Could it be possible that it is not the game that lacks sophistication but you that lacks the sophistication to play AND enjoy the game? Not possible, not possible, not possible.

Of course not, and therein lies the dilemma. It’s not you that is wrong it’s the game. And to rub salt into the wound, it’s expensive on top of being boring…
