What Actually Is Eve Online?

What toxic environment are you referring to? I haven’t seen you in fleet or even in local - are you the kind of person who talks about stuff without having any actual experience? Also, just for the record, mining permits are allowed by CCP - you can tall it toxic or childish all you want, but CCP has already ruled on this - so it sounds like your problem is with the game developer, not me. Sorry you don’t like EvE Online - have you tried Candy Crush? My mom likes Farmville.

I think it’s “childish” and “toxic” to spend years griping, whining, and campaigning against a legitimate game mechanic, merely because you don’t like someone. It’s like whining on the Starcraft forums that you think Mutalisks should be nerfed, cuz you are salty at some Zerg who dunked your miners.

Like grow up, and learn to play the game.

…and yet here you are giving them the attention you claim they desire. Some just like to argue for argument’s sake without understanding.

Eve is a space combat game where the players make the content. Without players creating said content, Eve would be nothing but afk mining and uneventful exploration of a pixel galaxy. There are other games for those who seek this game-play style. Eve is not one of them. It is a sandbox driven by players. Without combat, there would be no need for minerals or new ships. Without mining, there would be no new ships. There is a synergy here that relies on the content provided by all players. To deny this is fooling yourself. To try to stop those who wish to be “the bad guy” would only serve to further destroy what Eve stands for and make what you do in the game pointless. You can accept it, or not. It doesn’t change what it is. A horse of a different color…you know the rest.

@RGC_Godfather is not who you think he is. He gives the impression that he is just an average whinebaby, but infact, according to the princess, is actually a scammer of newbies, using his corp to steal their hard earned cash. He also likes sending them to their deaths through lowsec for a laugh.

I can see it being legal in game to make a game of letting newbies join your corp and then sending them into lowsec death traps for fun. But how would he steal their hard earned cash? Do you mean ISK, as in looting it from the ships of theirs that are destroyed, or do some players actually spend cash on Plex, buy stuff in game, and then he loots that, so effectively stealing cash from them?

He taxes their income. Some people offer new players a 0% tax haven, but RGC takes the isk for himself and virtue signals as “new player friendly”.

I don’t think Helping New Players is a virtue. I didn’t read that in my Catechism.

Well, it’s social signalling, sort of like ruffling one’s feathers or howling at the moon. They feign a virtue which doesn’t exist, as some kind of strategy to scam new players, and they are salty at those who point out the obvious facts.

That’s low, but isn’t scamming allowed in the game?

Salt is good, right?

For the people who can read the last few posts I believe this has proved itself :slightly_smiling_face: I rest my case. Likes to make up a bunch of fake information about things she known absolutely nothing about.

As an example NPC corps are still 11% tax. My corp is at 2% tax. Corp tax in this game comes from NPCs killed or missions. It does not come from market or trading or anything else. That extremely small amount of isk always gets funneled back into the corp by one way or another especially with corp projects that pay out rewards to the corp members doing them. The people who fly with me see first hand I dump my own isk into the corp and alliance and a lot of it. I have given money directly to needy members within reason on a regular basis.

I am confused on the sending my people into lowsec for them to die comment from @Zaera_Keena ? I’m assuming this is about the filament roams we go on? These are provided fleets we offer our members for the ones interested and they are in no way shape or form a requirement. Its destroyer or frig only and I offer srp within reason out of my own pocket for anything lost during those roams. So long as they are frigs or destroyers. We go on those roams with empty pods expecting to possibly die. It shows people that dying is ok and we can still have fun killing things along the way. Filament out into null and shortest route back home. Kill what we can and avoid larger fleets that form in response. Its good fun and camaraderie all around during these.

Sounds like you don’t fully understand just how much content this game actually provides. It’s not just miners and gankers out here.

Have you thought about simply muting/blocking those posters who cast aspersions upon you?
This is just a forum. The fight is within the game.
Unless your existence depends upon their opinions and you like the meaningless back and forth waste of time school playground atmosphere.

See? He even admits it.

…and he admits to griefing new players!

Doing so only allows them free range for targeted lies about my people without proper response or retaliation. While I wouldn’t be able to see the lies they post it wouldn’t stop them from spreading those lies or other people from seeing them. Blocking them would solve nothing. It would only benefit them.

Would Comrade Starbelt replace this with 5 year Veldspar plans, the ownership of all ships and ore by ‘The Party’, and the promise of a 100 DPS Trabant Battlecruiser after the player mined 100 million cubic meters of ore every 10 years ?

Well, you decide. Have fun

The ISD’s won’t allow that.

Probably his alts…

Your’e biggest mistake was taking on Aiko, the Saviorette of Highsec herself. She is clearly smarter than all of you combined, and always wins.
