Meh, I don’t believe that simply because there are not enough of them around to begin with and should not be able to threaten an active player.

It’s the blame game. It’s all about making someone else responsible for bad decisions as opposed to taking personal responsibility for the outcome of said decisions. It’s easier to say “I quit because of” than to just admit “I suck”.

You know, we may have lost some good players if they had just tried. You have to come into the game understanding it is hard.

I still blame the whales for today’s game state, but that’s just me. Meh…
I don’t know how to fix/balance the game. Sadly, neither do the devs or even worse, the player base which has a lot more “brain power” 
available to them just outta sheer numbers. 
Its a game designed for micro transactions above all else. Which if I had to guess… would be 75% or more of CCP’s income.
Eve Online can be about Capsuleers agreeing with each other to a play style that causes a form of grievance or hardship to another bystander Capsuleer.

Hello, @DrysonBennington EVE Online is a MMORPG, nothing more. No matter how you try to assign to it any sense of metaphysical meaning or sentimentality, it will never be more than a game for the simple reason that it was designed to be one thing and one thing only, a game.
EvE Online taught me a lot about interstellar finance.
