I feel like with a catchy name and a good pitch to right network you could turn that into a reality tv show. Maybe “Raised By RMTers”? It doesn’t have to be true to get ratings.
He is out of luck, @Destiny_Corrupted likes chicken
Wouldn’t that break the Interweb? A coalition between Gankers and AG forces, in an attempt to rid EVE of the Panda-Faced RMT Null-Sec Bot Hordes?
Add that for stations as a buff to ganking next patch.
Unfortunately it’s not up to me. It’s a good idea. You might discuss it wih a CSM. PvP is the core of this game afrer all.
Oh?
Do you have proof?
The Prophet awaits it.
That is the best way to cook chicken.
I see AO is in Gheth now , you know that out of the way sys that people can’t get to easerly. Still is tactically a good place to gank , now they have their stations and POS to hide in , for now
I forgot to reply to your question, Vlandian sadly, in the stand alone game I am always Sturgian.
Ok, back to Bannerbear.
This.I am a new player and there are no warnings. High sec is very dangerous and toxic. The problem is that suicide ganging is very profitable/ no risk and leeches off others players.
Add there a feature/item that will destroy 90% or 100% of cargo to discourage suicide gangs in high sec for profit.
When I ask in help chat on how to safely transport goods, they all recommend me to use a transport service. Or you better master instant undock and fast docking and bookmark every station and gate. Just clicking warping from gate to station is suicide.
For a new player this is completely unacceptable. And many lessons in EVE online including this are only learned the hard way, there are no warnings. The big problem is that people invest time in this game and after a while the fun / time expense for the “EVE lessons” are not profitable. There are other games that give you more fun.
Is this how EVE Online wants to compete with other games? By being the toxic cesspool filled with scammers, suicide gangers for profit? I am sorry but after EVE Experience I can not recommend this game to any of my friends.
I will wait until the event finishes and that will be me.
I am so sorry about your toxic EVE Online experience, friend.
I hope that CCP changes the game very soon so that it is more kinder and gentler for new players who just want to relax and have some fun mining. PvP is very evil and should be against the law, in my opinion. Please take care, and check back in a year or two in case CCP has gotten rid of all the criminal griefers.
Eve is no place for a crybaby.
You have already admitted other capsuleers have attempted to educate and guide you.
You have already confessed it is the lack of your own skill that leads you to failure.
However, to those of who are wise in the ways of the world, we already know what you really are. Your call sign itself gives it away. Please do not pretend you have any credibility nor any truthful words.
I know you did. And I know why you dodged it.
You have no proof. Your words are hollow and your life in New Eden will go unheralded by any.
A new player should not have anything worth ganking unless they are a WALLET WARRIOR.
Now be a good boy and give mummy back her credit card.
The profitability of a gank is entirely the choice of the target.
Profitable ganking is a calculation: if the gankers sacrifice enough ships to kill a target ship with a certain amount of hitpoints, is the loot worth the sacrifice of ships to CONCORD?
If the ship is well-tanked and the loot isn’t excessively expensive, the gank will not be profitable.
You have all the tools to make ganking you unprofitable, if they can even catch you at all.
Yes, for a person who isn’t aware of the many safety measures you can take while hauling, paying someone else who takes that risk is indeed the safest way to do so.
Alternatively you could accept the game as it is and learn how to safely transport goods yourself.
Indeed, good bookmarks will save your ship! Seems those players have given you good advice!
Usually clicking warping from gate to station goes without problems, and it’s a very rare occasion that it results in your death. Many mechanics in EVE are like that, which usually go fine yet occasionally results in your death.
Over the years, people have learned all sorts of tricks to minimize those risks, and are trying to teach you those so that you too can stay alive in that 1-in-a-hundred situation.
Don’t feel like you need to learn all those tricks immediately as new player though, there’s too many of them and really, you’re usually not flying something that expensive that people bother to kill you. Yet.
Well yes, that’s part of EVE’s identity and how EVE has been marketed since the start: a ruthless universe where scamming and piracy is legal.
It’s part of what drew me and many others to this game.
Read it again. Players gave me advice after I lost something. I asked the players after I was hit with this problem. There is no warning in this game that says “watch out If you cargo is worth over 200 milion you will be targeted and destroyed because they still make at least 100 milion profit.” Yes lack of skill for a price. This is what is wrong with the game. In order for you to learn you need to sacrifice a lot. There are no warnings.
Correct for those of us who are wise know that Mr Eldstokkr just wants players to suffer just as he did otherwise It would not be fair to him for all the time he lost when he was unaware and could be warned.
“Please do not pretend you have any credibility nor any truthful words.”
I am applying common sense and logic. And when I read your comment It tells me that you are desperate for attention. Nobody writes like that.
Thanks for the reply. If this is how the culture of the community is then I will not fit in. Have a nice rest of the day.
You mean you won’t fit in to an open-minded, helpful and teaching community that offers you good advice for free? Ooookay… What kind of community do you seek?
