Homemade Lancashire Hotpot.

I just had an Anton Ego’s childhood moment from Disney Pixar’s “Ratatouille” just by being exposed to that image and remembered the taste. In Turkey we call it “Güveç Türlü” and it is one of the most divine winter dishes! Making, cooking and eating of it is a ritual of its own.

This is what I had today after a healthy breakfast of cheese and watermelon:

Food memories is like a warm hug from the past. I am drinking coffee with a tulip-shaped glass. Love exploring Turkish culture. Thanks a lot for the fabulous sharing.

You will need:

4 Russet potatoes
Some cut onions, green peppers, olives, garlic, dockside garlic, sweet peppers, mushrooms

thyme, zuccuni, honey, virgin olive oil. Pork and Beans

Boil unpealed potatoes and carrot. When the potatoes are soft, mash them into a square pan, add carrots and butter. You’ll know your potatoes are done when water sorta looks brown. Drain the water until a little gravy is left from boiling the potatoes. Add gravy.

Fry all of the other veggies in the olive oil and thyme.

Pork and Beans warming on stove.

Once your potatoes are out, use the same water that the potatoes were boiled in to boil four hotdogs. Add some of the veggies and juices from the frying pan with the hotdogs to add some flavor while boiling.

To add flavor to any brawt or dog, simply add seasoning to the water while boiling.

Well potentially that could contain some salt with a ratio of 100grams to 1000ml (1 part to 10 parts) water when boiling potatoes.
Then drain the water and rinse with cold water before storing in fridge to cool before baking them in duck fat in the oven.

Seasoning after they cone out of the oven while hot before plating dinner.

Nobody cares about how you boil your potatoes.

Btw frosty sent me to the bottle-o so I guess your n for a ride tonight there Chad!

Well Felix we had enjoyed every shot!

The glass is a six shot glass fyi

I would love to eat Caviar one more time. The last time I consumed it, it was caviar flavored potato pop chips back when I lived in the Balkans. I once heard about a man who has flown first class and ordered 8 cans of caviar to eat, one after another.

One of the fine dining experiences:

Watermelon — the disease fighter Lycopene is an antioxidant linked to decreased risk of cancer, heart disease and age-related eye disorders.

Watermelon should be a gamers best food of choice as a snack.

My first attempt at cooking a Patty-Pan.

The Patty-Pan is like squash.

1. Hollow the center out, like you would a pumpkin.

2.Put the Pan-Pan in the center, then spread your filling around the outside of the Pan-Pan.

(Garlic, ginger, cut potatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, choice of meat and seasoning.)

3.Stir fry on 3 to 4 for five minutes then let simmer for about 1/2 hour on 2.

Turn the Patty-Pan on its top and fry for ten minutes then turn over, fill the Patty - Pot with the stuffing and let simmer until the heat is gone

Patty-Pan about 15 minutes into frying on 3.5

Make certain to add honey near the end of the frying cycle.

I’m more of a Chef like Ralph Fiennes’s Master Chef Julian Slowik character from “The Menu” movie.
I bring people who cook meals together with me lots of “joy” while working.
I’ve experienced that if I don’t cook meals according to the recipe and ONLY making eyeball adjustments later, the food I make isn’t perfect enough.

Today I spent hours making one full course of a hearty meal.

The old person I try to impress with my cooking skills makes Gordon Ramsey from Hell’s Kitchen seem like a pretty tolerating and encouraging person.
(in every joke there is a piece of truth)

Okay, maybe that old person isn’t that harsh when critiquing food. But he has pretty high standards given that he’s been to virtually all countries in the world. So I can understand why he is a picky eater.
Last time I made him yellow lentil soup and he said he actually liked it.
This is what they make at restaurants:

Mine was this:

Somewhat thick, given the reason that you can always water down a thick soup, but when you try the opposite, it gets tricky and not as tasty.
I also added a lot of dried vegetables(and minor ingredients) before I put it to boil. Then after it was ready, I blended it thoroughly and poured most of it in a 2 liter glass bottle and gifted it to that old person.

EDIT:

Also, 2 days ago was National T.V. Dinner Day.

Will have to remember this for next year

I had only scheduled in pancake day

(The only day of the year in which one should consume maple syrup)

/ funny thing about tv dinner, you need a mug of hot Dr Pepper.

Anyway side note there is actually a National Beer day, though type in google search adding Australia vand the funny read states there is no specific day for drinking beer

We would have a drink if two kangaroos hopped over the fence.

//also still having lamb sandwiches
