they didnt even change those ships. they look exactly the same as they did before and its not like those were ships that looked bad to begin with. there were other ships that need it more.

Maybe. ECM, sensor dampeners and tracking disruptors are going to wreak havoc with the Trig turret as it attempts to cycle up to the extra +50% damage boost. If you lose target lock (for whatever reason) it’s going to reset to zero.

Assault frigs can kill a marauder, i’ve done it with a small gang, i don’t think those are really worth taking just for killing the occasional kronos you might find lol
Carriers will just blap them off the field before they can do any real damage, remember, the BS takes 60 seconds to reach full damage, at this point you may aswell have just taken a blaster fit thron and done more DPS overall while losing less cash when it gets killed, on paper they have uses but in reality, i don’t think its that black and white
Overall they are just a “meh” to me.
They dont fit anything I do, and are not that great looking to me. More ships drawn with a straight edge. So now we have ships with the “Eye of Sauran” on them… great. 
I guess it will depend on what the rest of the stats are, but I think there are a few interesting possibilities.
and if the cruiser will do 1500 dps?
I don’t think the cruiser is going to do 1500 DPS. The battleship, probably… Should I be more excited for the Triglavian battleship or the new SoCT Praxis battleship?

Still not useful for what I typically do…
EWAR and Exploration. Not a lot of ships that can effectively EWAR and get high DPS… if they do they get nerfed in a few weeks due to the tears of others.
And I like using ships with good midslot layouts for exploration.
5 minimum.
