I play many full-loot PvP survival games like Rust, Dayz, Deadside, etc.
But while being full-loot PvP games, their scope is different from EVE, as there’s no long-term progression. It’s just a “collect items and survive as long as possible” kind of gameplay loop, so not a true analogue for EVE.
There are very few long-term progression MMOs with EVE’s PvP-centric gameplay archetype out there (e.g. Albion), and all of them have people on the forums begging for the PvP to be turned off. The Survival PvP shooters too, even the ones with PvE servers as an option.
This is 0% surprising. Virtually everyone alive today was raised with some kind of compulsory education that brought them up from a very young age to follow directions and not question authority. Then, after many, many years of that, they get to choose among the diverse universe of jobs - almost all of which require them to follow directions and not question authority. The compensation is that, if they follow directions real good and don’t ask the wrong questions, they can live in a nice house (or maybe studio) with air conditioning.
Why would people want to play a game with an open world? It goes against their very upbringing and the value system they have been taught. It is wrong.

O you mean grinding to 7.0? mad man also having to give up on edencom standings to get that does not seem worth it imo.
You could get to 7.0 with just shooting drones. It just takes dedication. Right?
Nope drones will reach 10 and you will stop getting trig standings if you mix in drifters it will reach 10 too and it wont be enough to get trig 7 you have to shoot edencom aswell and get it into negitive.
my drifters is -8
Wow. CCP has thought of every possible way of making their game suck. There is literally nothing left to do in the sandbox.
