There is a demand for environment free of any PvP by current player base, and such environment probably should be provided, but there is small and justified price to pay- significant reduction of profitability of such space for the player.
Why? Whats the resoning for that?
And why so much that it would take a new player months to get a ship to low that they will lose when they get there?
Unless you think we should make Low a PvE only area too? So that its like High and Null?
That could work.
Regarding low sec- there needs to be a financial penalty for illegal destruction of player’s ship, based on marked value of the loss
Just ban it. Then the GMs can spend less time arbrting over ship recompensation and more time doing fun things like teleporting around in events.
well, once KM is generated, let’s say 50-70% of its isk value gets automatically deduced from offender’s wallet and goes to some NPC corp (never ever to a victim; this needs to be huge isk sink for every party involved)
Why allow it to be done if there’s such a dis-incentive to do it?
The only thing your changes would do is cause a mass exodus of even more players, ultimately turning Eve Online into a glorified vaporware game…
How this guy is still a Senior GM is an affront to the raison d’être of even having a CSM.
Lottery is skewed and people go nuts, guy teleports titans to safety and gets promoted.
I guess once Ashes of Creation is finished, everyone who likes PvP can leave EvE and go to that game, and then all the millions of people that just want to PvE in peace can flock to EvE.
We can see how that works out.
Let us use Slift Click to stack Drone Target Commands
LIke most games you can tell the AI to do this then that.
Sounds like something a bot-aspirant would want.
I think the devs have already thought of simple changes that could attract new players and by what I’ve seen so far they’ve been working on that for a couple of years.
I don’t think any simple change would attract new players. Lots of work is needed to do that and the changes we’re seeing to EVE go in that direction. Not saying it’s perfect but it’s better than some small change that hardly anyone outside the game would notice or know about.
