I miss that feeling of having my first cargo loss.
Short story, when first starting in New Eden I was bootlegging npc crafted tobacco across many Stargates.
My path I had started to take is different today than I had wanted it to go and I miss that. It had changed because of how the game seem to pigeon hole me into doing other less fun things.
Just wanted to share that memory.
I miss the “high risk --> high profit” line … right now its “high risk --> no profit” … STOP THAT DRIFTER GARBAGE in NS ! Utterly useless !
playing over a year and i dont really miss stuff, but i got say, the new invasions, most of all drifters seem to be a awsome add to the game. Will be here to see what will all this develop into, most of all the announced null alliance to burn high sec. Very cool stuff 
I miss being able to chill in a few level 4 missions and being totally flush to buy whatever ship my mood was in, going out to Querious and kill a few ships, explode and do it all over again.
A list of character names of video makers and epic pilots, pulling epic stunts somewhere in w-space or nullsec with 4 people and a link boat in an undisclosed location cough
Being able to just set a destination of some letters and numbers in nullsec and chill on a 50 jump trip to the middle of nowhere and just see what happens on the way.

Funny chatter in almost system in highsec and helping some random noob in a level 4 mission or just asking into the sky for help myself and being warped to by a random guy coming from another mission to help me clear up the mess that I caused and both having a blast.
Going into lowsec and being warped at by a “pirate” whom explains me in detail that this is dangerous space and he would be able to shoot me down very easy but judging from my character age he didn’t because I was a noob at the time and he gave me some more pointers either to avoid being shot at or avoiding lowsec to begin with until I was ready for it.
You don’t get that anymore.
Killmails that are ingame mails which only you and your victim or victor would receive. So no killboard pandering.
Being able to watch someone fight at a gate in lowsec or nullsec and then warping away once the fight was over and talking to both parties during and after.
I do surely miss myself , I am just forum warrior now

Being able to coax people out without having to wait a week for a timer knowing full well at such timer they will have called every damn friend and nieghbour to come help them and will be waiting to cyno in a gang of 40’000 to save an athanor they dont even use.
Combat ceptors actually having a role and being useful for solo pvp.
And to a point, the mystery surrounding what still feels like unfinished pve content, like cosmos areas and those certificate missions… (where you get arvues token or some such and a refferal to an agent that doesnt even exist) as well as not knowing exactly what i was gonna get when i first started exploration and those two concord agents that could get your security status to +6.

I miss being so passionate about this game that I’d happily sit in a hole for weeks on end waiting for someone to log on and merrily warp out of their POS shield to play, knowing that they’d had eyes in system for hours… maybe days, rolled and that nobody was there to interrupt their activities…
… all because they’d cast aspersions about my character or parentage, been mean to a newb in local or were generally obnoxious.
I even put alts in a few low and null corps to awox a few lippy Larrys way back.
I miss caring that much that I actually had a sh*tlist. Still have it. There are a few unclaimed heads but sadly most of them don’t play any more.
Of course all this is still possible, I’m just a lot more mellow now.
