What do you miss about Eve that is now gone?

For a multiple screen system, that´s simply amazing…

The people I used to play with. This new generation of players is wierd to say the least…

I miss being able to load a single cruise missile into a light missle launcher and insta-popping other frigs. (okay, that wasn’t balanced at all but it was fun)

Honestly, I’ve been away from the game for so long I don’t even remember what I miss. Probably small scale PvP that was everywhere. 2-3 ships here and there. You could solo PvP in battleships. Ships weren’t pigon-holed into “roles” A cruiser was just straight up better than a frig in everything except speed. Same with battleships. Bigger ship = more powerful but also more expensive and more risk.

A fleet of 5 BS had everything you needed.

I’m enjoying recollecting on the things that were. I will say that through my corp mates, I’m still able to see the good in this game.

Ask yourself: am i missing out because I’m not participating in a social group that fits my playstyle? If you think you can improve on your more recent experience by joining a group - do so. If you need help with this then look me, or someone like me up.

Don’t spend your time alone in this universe if you can help it. Strength in numbers is still a thing in Eve. Find friends, they’re out there - closer than you think.

The old ship models. Especially the asymmetrical Caldari designs like the blackbird, Scorpion and the Moa. The new ones are great but it would be nice to see the old ones in the game. Maybe they could be re-introduced as a faction ship or BPC loot drops. How cool would it be to open that juicy Dread Guristas can and you get a old style Moa BPC?

CRANBERRY MUFFINMAN…NUF SAID😎

Humorous anecdote…

Back when we had an in-game browser I was in a fleet where people started talking about how the in-game browser was going to be removed. He was upset because it was how he could watch porn without his parents finding out…smart kid.

Can flipping…

I still miss when the game was as much of an adventure for the Dev’s as it was for the players. :smirk:

Edit; “I” miss trying to figure out who the other guys alts were while he was trying to figure out who my alts were!

I miss the feeling of the game being alive, null sec was a mess of shifting brawling groups, now its a dead lump of dirt static , immobile, tasteless.

I miss the clean pristine space , travelling from system to system with just the beauty of space, now its like travelling though a garbage dump, space littered with dic pics drawn in cargo containers, and such.

I came back to the game , a game i once loved a while ago, i left again after a week almost in tears at the shambles this game has become.

I miss the guy that said “Die Goons” now that was a time to play EvE. Right Mits? You wanker. :face_with_monocle:

You can remove cans, mobile depots, and mobile tractor units from your travel overview tab quite easily, yanno… I highly recommend it! makes for much cleaner space, as you would say.

The Jukebox. I really like the EVE Online music, and I enjoyed being able to play the songs that I like whenever I wanted to.

For the record, I bought the sound track, not sure if there are any new releases, but the sound track I purchased didn’t have all the music available in EVE. There were some music, largely played during missions and stuff, that weren’t on the sound track.
