When I started playing, it was my dream to work at CCP and help make EVE more grimdark and awesome than it already was. But with CCP being the way it is today, especially now being owned by Pearl Abyss, even if I got a free college education and 72 of my own personal toothless 18-year-old hookers as a signing bonus, I wouldn’t do it. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror having helped perpetuate the dumpster fire that is EVE today. I only pay in the hope that CCP will turn around, get their ■■■■ together, and make EVE great again, and I want to give them the chance to do that.

Similar situation. Back in 2011 (i believe) i was seriously planning to try to join CCP as developer.
Now i rather stay away from company like this.

• Regroup your product on the idea you are providing a service to a community (not a game).

CSM should be a lottery, not an election. Automatic entry of all subbed players with max of 2 members from any corp/alliance. The trips should be all expenses paid as well.

Chat system failures are the result of poor testing, and general failures during research phase of the project. xmpp has well documented issues in large environments, the results of which we are still dealing with.

Nah, skins are cool just find a way to make it not feel like a cash grab.

I’m all for some additional realism, but remember we are playing a game and reality isn’t necessarily the top priority.

i miss…

• smuggling (why did they made drugs legal? like wtf happend?! MAKE DRUGS ILLEGAL AGAIN)

• walking in stations / the captains quarter (sure it wasnt that much but it would be awesome if they did expand it into other space stations or starships and make it so that other people could decorate their stations/starships and meet eachother, add some minigames and emotes and all that social mmoRPG stuff^^) this feature could bring back alot of players to eve online!

• also i miss that devs listen to their game communitys! i would love if ccp would add a ingame Voting System for future game updates/Patches so the community could decide in what direction eve should evolve! runescape does it right and it works really well!

• soon i will miss exploration too…. lol its so sad that i just made eve my main mmo and now i see that ccp starts to make it a boring casual junk game…. seems like i can search for a new mmo again this sucks!!

I’m a big fan of the asymmetrical and completely alien nature of the older ship designs. The newer models are definitely cleaner, but they give the impression of a more technologically primitive civilization. Overall Eve just feels less mysterious.

To be fair good is subjective. For me there are some good things about EvE, same in ED, and again of SC.

I really miss can flipping and and baiting can flippers. I also miss jacking orcas that people were using as large cans. I miss the small fights and roaming through lowsec and finding people doing things.

Really wish there could be a roll back to classic eve say around 2010.

I also miss expansions where people were actually excited to see the stuff that was coming out. There would always be a huge spike in people coming back to check it out. Now updates are approached with a sense of dread and fingers crossed that ccp won’t f*** the game up any more then they already have.

As currenlty alpha state player, i miss doing level 4’s with my friends / corp.
We normally used level 4 missions to have some fun and after level 4 missions we would go do some pvp.

As level 4’s are no longer possible to do, we all just left the game.

elite dangerous is a pretty awesome game, the game world size is crazy (copy of our rl galaxy) and u will spent 100000years to explore it lol

also u can land/drive on planets and soon u can walk around with ur character in spacestations and ur own ship!!

sadly elite dangerous isnt a real mmorpg like eve online!
u can play it online on one big server but i think u see only 36players per zone, also u can play it solo or just with a few friends in ur own Galaxy/shard which sucks from a mmorpg view!

star citizen is the dream game of most scifi lovers but im sure it will take some more years until its in beta or 1.0

only good scifi mmo atm is eve online!
