I’m miss seeing roleplay creator Lurm the Slurm in Ahbazon

Tash-Murkon Prime being a secondary market hub.

Im curious to what else you actually do?

Mobile depots contain zero loot.

/ if a pilot decides to blow up one then their should be some raw materials even when their was no item’s stored.

This would make shooting empty mobile depots more fun.

What I miss is having more fun with simple things like mobile depots.

You can always play MTU casino / lottery by throwing 4500 PLEX (or whatever else) in a jetcan, make it blue, wait for the MTU to tractor then scoop it up and then blow it up and see if it drops.

Even if it doesn’t you can bet the owner will be quite surprised when seeing the lossmail.

When finding pirate cruiser BPC in a combat site was a real nice moment. Now it’s just meh….

Anyone knows why CCP had destroyed this aspect by moving ship price from BPC to materials? Explorers were too many and produced too much loot?

Glad to see you pad your killmail with defenseless mtu’s.

“A killmail is still generated for the destroyed MTU, which can be viewed in your Combat Log and posted to third-party killboards like zKillboard.” I’m sure I popped some mtu’s? But didn’t realize they counted.

Edit; For the punctuation and grammar police this kid would never have survived.

That got changed back when CCP implemented the huge industry changes to ship hulls from battleship and up (T1) and faction ships across the board. If I remember correctly, their train of thought was something along the lines of ‘‘it doesn’t make sense for these ships to require only minerals, technology has moved on’’ blah-blah. Also, that it was a good thing for hulls to require materials of different form (gas) and from different areas of space. Those things were something that got quoted. But I never thought that was the real reason. Capital industry was changed at the same time with new higher material requirements for them as well.

It was a very unpopular change, and CCP has since walked back on it, but only part-way. The unfortunate consequence of this industry change was the complete devaluation of pirate hull BPCs, which happened immediately after the changes going live. Because industrialists manufactured hulls in bulk prior to changes going live and because a lot of people had a lot of hulls in stock manufactured at, by then, cheap old prices, the new prices increased after the expansion, but not to the level of material input exactly. Since anyone wanting to manufacture new hulls was forced to sell them at or near the new material requirement prices, and not much higher – since old cheap stock was keeping the prices from rising above that level – there was absolutely no way BPC holders could have sold their pirate ship BPCs at anything other than for scraps.

So, it wasn’t directly ‘‘changed’’ by CCP, but it was the logical consequence. It was a balancing that happened due to new market conditions.

Thanks for explanation. It’s pretty standard story for the game as far as i can see….

A Vargur which was worth using. The nerf is quite strong.

There were better ways to deal with the triple xlasb. You could have limited it to two max which would force people to use a regular booster if they wanted a silly tank while making them vulnerable.

Falloff basically crippled it put a nail in the coffin of this ship - it may sound dramatic, but its really gimped the ship for everything else. But nevermind, there are other ships i suppose like a shield kronos.

Imo it would have been better to split the bastion module to make the role it plays to the hull. That way you could have sorted armour overrep out for the armour tanks, managed the triple xlasb by nerfing the max fit of the module to two and left the shield rep bonus and falloff alone on the shield ships.

Its a little more work, but would give you more room for tweaking in the future. I’m sure you had your reasons. At least im trying to make my salt constructive.
