What is Causing EVE to Die?

It does for me.

If others don’t like/enjoy the way the game goes for them then it’s up to them to alter their thinking and ways of doing things.

Myself and others are perfectly fine in our own small corps with no structures watching players like you moan and groan while we get on with enjoying what we do.

I am a filthy industrialist. Mining at the end of the day is relaxing. Besides without us miners out there in the belts. Where would those ships come from. That the gankers and PVP’ers fly and fight in?

While the PVP’ers complain and the gankers rail against the fact that not everyone wants to shoot at each other all day. I and other players like myself laugh. Why? Because without us. You players would not have all those lovely ships to blow out of the sky. So cry that we all are not into PVP. I and others will be busily mining and building those same ships you fly and blow up. Making our Isk and enjoying the game in our unique way. Just as every PVP’er does.

With the talking etc how come Capsuleers repeat their words more than a few times?

Been watching SpaceX live just now and I must admit they don’t have to repeat their coms or anything .

Did he really send her ISK? I’ve done many stupid things in the game, but…

We will never know!

We have her out mining her own isk currently.

What’s possible to cause EveOnline is whenever **old outdated dated information is tossed around like a soggy empty half eaten sandwich **

That data is over a week or more old.

Maybe check with me first before deciding to do whatever you’re trying to do here Uriel!

Gosh…I make this symbiotic ecosystem point again and again. It is the true meta of EVE…whilst people argue the tiny details.

The minute one truly grasps this meta…one sees EVE in a totally different light.

Tell me Frosty, what is his nefarious plan? What mischief is Private Investigator Uriel the Flame upto? Is it true that Audrey Longbuck has a crush on Uriel?

I confirm the unblocking of Zaera, after payment of 1 billion.

The only crush here will be after I park my mining barge on top of Princess’s toes

Zaera confirms the unblocking of Aiko

Eve is dying becayse gankers dont care about the economy. I’ve recently been made aware of this. According to someone, the economy thrives on PvP and the destruction of ships, but gankers always use trash Catalysts. If they really cared about this game, they’d fly more expensive ships like battle cruisers.

Think of the economy!

From my point of view as to why eve is dying, I started playing EvE in 2004 and have played on and off since then. I have seen the game change time and time again and with each installment something new and exciting to do and explore. When I started playing I was 16 years old and EvE was like nothing I had ever seen or played before and it was truly amazing. I met so many people from different counties or all ages and that’s the point I am trying to make, almost all the people I have ever known in EvE are gone, we have all grown up, have lives, careers and family (2 children). EvE was all about exploring, experiencing the galaxy and getting involved in some of the best pvp in any MMO, nothing was more of an adrenaline rush than my first ever fleet battle. The blank parts of the map have been filled in, there is nothing left to explore, nothing more to do and what is left is just bitter vets fighting over nothing.

EvE was life and we cared about it, we cared about reputation, I was loyal to my alliances and corps and even now I can proudly say I was member of Curse Alliance and long live XirtamVOTF our dark lord. I believed all that once, but now it is the end of days. EvE had its stone age, it had its ancient history, it had its middle ages, it had its renaissance, it had its industrial age, it had its modern age and information age. What we are seeing now is kind of what humanity will go through in the future, stagnation!. Do you all remember the EvE intro? when the stargates could take them no further they turned on each other and corporations would rise and would fight over what was left. However, a wormhole was discovered and a virgin galaxy awaited, that is what EvE needs a total reset, a new home and a new adventure. I am ready for that!

I make the same point from time to time. But gankers cry there is not enough targets, Someone cries about getting ganked. Everyone seems to lose sight that when undocked in space you are going to get shot at. Sometimes there will not be enough targets. Even though you can always shoot at NPC pirates or at each other. shrugs

Lol…how can you say this in the same breath as you demand that ‘only’ 10% of destruction takes place in highsec ? Ganking is only a tiny portion of even that. I bet you didn’t know that well over half the destruction in highsec is PvE, for example.

The entire ‘Eve is dying’ rhetoric consists of people flailing around making contradictory statements just like you’ve done.

If Eve is dying…its because people poison the well with this BS and then have the sheer audacity to pretend they ‘care’ about the game.

I’m often in the ganker channels…and there’s targets galore. If ganking is putting people off joining the game…I see no sign of it. In fact the kill stats for last year were higher than the previous 3 years, when you’d expect them to be lower if ganking was putting people off.
