EVE is not dying; EVE has evolved from an excellent game for everyone, with a great community, to a niche game, stagnant and with a damn toxic forum. I just read the reviews on Steam.
There are great ads on the net, but the number of players has not increased for a decade, and the game itself is drifting towards FPS. There is a complete lack of ideas for development.
This is what happens when you make money by force.

Might as well save some time by pasting it instead of spending five minutes two-finger typing every time.
Don’t forget to screenshot them. It will come in handy when you try to become an ISD or gain employment as a GM. Just show them the screenies and they’ll move you right to the front of the line. Copy/paste is a key skill for these guys.

The changes CCP made with no concern for our play-styles, sacrificing everything for one goal of blowing up and shoring up power to self-interested nullblocks under the guise of new players… is what drove away almost everyone I have known. Most of them are still consistent long term gaymers who simply hate CCP with a passion. And yes, if they dont fix the obvious issues, which THEY CAUSED… I dont take this game seriously either. What is causing eve to die or be in the terrible state its in? CCP and their inability to understand or listen to experts in their fields when they make changes. Its not damned if you do, damned if you dont… Its CCP making the wrong choices for the wrong reasons and then not even blinking when it backfires. Learn to listen to leaders in their chosen play-styles CCPlease. Yall are lucky i still bother to log in here and speak but people are too arrogant and ignorant to get that. Leave things up to fools and we just become an online chatroom for carebears. PvP and fair competition is what could make eve a good game again. But all you guys want to do is protect your own useless junk while killing off PvP and eliminating competition by begging CCP to wreck the game even more.

I never said I had “proof.” I said, based on my “experience”, and then wondered if there were others like me.
And then put out there that it would be interesting if there was a study and sad that no one considered looking into it.
Why are you so salty when someone challenges you? It’s clear you’re not open to an honest discussion. You just want people to agree with you. And to think, you accused Gloria of being “close minded.”
It also didn’t go unnoticed that there is a complete lack of citations and evidence “supporting” your claim.
Please link a bibliography.

Also, please provide the links to those studies, within 24 hours. Failure to do so, will only confirm that you too, just make stuff up and pretend that it’s factual.

This, a thousand times this.
Undocking whether ratting, exploring, or mining. Never knowing if I am coming back in a ship or in a pod. No other game has ever come close to this virtual thrill. ■■■■, Not knowing if what I just bought and am on the way to pick up. Is really just a trap. Adds a lot of suspense to the flight out to the station.
If eve is indeed dying. It sure seems rather lively to me.

I do do whatever I want. It’s not false advertising… All you need to do is understand that everyone else will be doing what they want and then you need to be prepared when those actions occasionally clash.
I do two things in New Eden.
- What I want to do
- Work around situations where what I want clashes with what someone else wants.
