This is an issue I have struggled with my entire eve career and recently several real life friends have come to the game, and I do not know how to help them with this juggle.
Any advice would be welcome!
SOE missions damage a handful of empire factions and then when we go to run missions with those empires we lose standings with others. It’s a circle that I do not know how to complete!

Do the Epic arcs for every 3 months for all 4 empires.
DON’T do storyline missions.

It’s been ages since I ran missions, but I think the solution is.
- find a system/station with several SOE agents
- get missions from them
- reject the ones vs other Empires and only take ones vs pirates/rogue drones.
- When you’ve rejected 1 from an agent don’t reject any more until the time limit is up (4hr thanks Geo)
- because you have several agents you should be able to keep running missions without pissing the agents off.
I’m pretty sure you can do this with any Corp’s agents, but SOE offer fewer vs Empire missions so your chances of not getting a string of them are better.
Also use alts and other corpies to also pull missions so you have more chance of getting good ones.

#4 would be 4 hours.
same advice overall for any empire. avoid the ones that go against other empires, though those don’t hurt standings as much as storylines do, repeating the epic arcs every few months can prevent that from happening, though you will want to have each corporation that starts the arc at 5.00 effective.
as that is the indefinite way to keep doing the arcs unless you drop your faction to -2 or below.

would corp standings help for those pilots that do not have 5.0 standings?
Apparently you missed what I said above. It helps to have the starting corps at 5.00 for the arcs.
Expert Distribution, brutor, impetus, and ministry of internal order
My apologies. I am new to viewing and using corp standings. I do not see some of our members on the lists for the empire standings. I am taking from that only characters that have already started doing missions will count?
I do not mean to come off as an idiot for this topic. I have only ever used corps to house alts while this corp is a group of friends and I am the most experienced. Though I lack experience when it comes to managing and understanding corporation roles and various methods of use.
Generally speaking, You do not lose standing unless the mission targets a specific Faction, will be listed in the mission description, so avoid those against Empire Factions (Amarr, Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar) and you’ll basically never go negative.

Yes if they’ve not done a mission for that corporation, say expert distribution, then when you look at the player corp standings for ED, they wont be under it as they have not done a mission for them.

Thank you kindly for all the information!
I’m surprised nobody mentioned this but ‘The Plan’ can definitely help achieve and maintain positive standings with all main Factions…
