And then realise that Helldivers community is actually quite decent compared to most others. If you have these issues in game with people being… idiotic/problematic then disable cross-play and suddenly you’ll have less console idiots to worry about. It’s a very noticeable difference.
Copy profile and send it in a ingame mail to yourself. That you allways have a back up

Stop using the default launcher profile. Make yourself a custom one so that it doesn’t get reset whenever CCP updates the launcher.
Until you do this, you’re going to occasionally have this problem. This isn’t a CCP issue, this is how computers work, because otherwise CCP would have to ship the launcher without a default profile.
I use default, never happens to me.

Most people use default, if only for a single account. If that were the cause the forums would be on fire every day of every week and every update. They’re not.
Simple logic that apparently escapes you. The launcher isn’t frequently updated, but was just done recently. Also, it’s not an absolute going to happen, but not the first time I’ve seen it posted either. You know, little details that you miss when you’re just trying to be a troll all the time.
The logic of “pretty much all players use default if only for a selection of their accounts, if that were the cause of the issues lots of people would have lots of problems all the time and it’d be all over the forums”? That logic?
Have you considered it’s a you problem? Or rather a “your pc” problem? Have you considered that you’re not the centre of the universe and just because you have issues everyone else must have those same issues because the alternative would be that is it, in fact, a you problem.

Had you stated “perhaps try avoid using default profile, that solved the problem for me so far” then it would be a suggestion and it would be fine. You just couldn’t help yourself adding nonsense to it because whining and pointing fingers is the modern disease.

Your logic is based on a flawed premise you cannot prove, therefore can be utterly dismissed. There is, however, evidence that there are issues that switching from default can resolve, thus reinforcing my point.

Most people are lazy and uninformed AF. I don’t need to prove it.
I use default profiles. I haven’t messed with launcher stuff. I’ve never had the problem of my UI nor Overview messing up somehow.
