Noticed I am -4.2 for amarr and googled how to raise the standing and seeing the post/remembing epic arcs are a thing decided to look into it. Upon noticing that you need -2.0 or higher to even qualifity for the epic arc makes me question their purpose? Yes I know -2 isn’t great standing but if the point of the epic arcs is to get a boost to standing without losing other standings then why put a requirement of decent standing behind it? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose entirely? if you’re already in decent standing you can run normal missions so why have the arcs? Personally I think the standing requirement should be dropped from these arcs if their purpose is to recover your standing. I ran a bunch of l1s and gained no standing and can’t run the epic arcs so I guess I just don’t run anti amarr factions from now on… super great design
Well, when you did the google search it should have listed the ‘Faction Standing Repair Plan’…
‘The Plan’ shows various ways to quickly and easily gain Faction Standing… Being at -4.2 standing with Amarr won’t stop you from accessing the Sisters Of Eve Level 1 Epic Arc… Completing that arc for Amarr will give a nice boost to Faction Standing…
There’s also much quicker ways to boost Faction Standing but it will cost some isk… I’m talking about buying Pirate Dog Tags from Market or Public Contracts and turning them in to the Data Center Agents…
Due to various percentages of Faction Standing being rewarded, the best route to go is first complete Level 1 Faction Agents like the Career Agents, their small reward will actually make big increases to your existing negative standings..

Aside from that, the other option is to hire the USIA to repair your amarr standings.
So if you dont have diplomacy trained, i would train that as the -2.00 standing for missions is modified with diplomacy skill.
Next, if you are doing L1 missions then it should give you a storyline mission after every 16 missions. That storyline will give you standings for faction (but hurt others in the process).
As DMC mentioned, your career agents can do quite a bit. I think 5 agents will give more standing than the SoE arc does.
