When did you realize you were truly rich in game?

I realized I was truly rich when king Osric gave me a jar full of diamonds to bring his daughter back. That plus the Eye of the Serpent should last me a lifetime in New Eden.

But in truth, I am rich to be able to spend my time online and play a game all day when others have to toil for their dough. Truly rich indeed.

Exactly. I would argue that the new-player experience is something that should be protected and allowed to happen naturally. IMO, giving a new player billions of ISK is just inflating your own ego in a selfish way to destroy the experience a new player has. Its totally selfish and immortal under the guise of altruism. Disgusting and ignorant.

When the last time I bought PLEX it was selling at about 2.8M ISK, left the game years later to come back and its now selling 6.7M ISK. So I bought a Golem and didn’t even blink about it.

Giving isk to any new player who shows promise (and true, there are very few) is worth the investment IMO. I make more than I can spend. I give advice to those willing to listen, I give out isk to those “I” deem worthy after the forums have vetted them with me. I even double the payback after a kill to those who ask “how did you do that.” I was surprised as to how many did back then!

I won’t even bother to insult you like you did me, but you are a player who drags down the game by not sharing knowledge and wealth to those few who stand a chance. Meh…

I try to help those who are worth it, have a sense of humor and enjoy the game. I’m fuzzy now because I tried to help worthless players. Does not mean it was not worth the effort or expence. Can you say the same?

Hope you give it divided among them instead of billions per person because I personally witnessed newbros wasting big portions of the ISK gifted to them on overpriced stuff because they were too lazy to make the trip to a trade hub with better price and other such nonsense because they didn’t care anymore.
