New: Self-Hosted (Binary) install for EVE Wormhole Mapper — looking for beta testers!
Fly with your own tools, run your own server. EVE Wormhole Mapper can now be installed directly on Linux or Windows using the pre-built binaries from GitHub Releases — no Docker required.
No more container overhead if you’d rather run WHMapper straight on your box: install the ASP.NET Core runtime, PostgreSQL, and Redis, drop in the binary, and you’re mapping.
This is a Beta installation method
It’s new, and it hasn’t had the mileage that our Docker/Kubernetes install has. Some steps might be unclear, missing for your distro, or just plain wrong for your setup — and that’s exactly why we need you.
What we need from you
If you’re comfortable with a terminal (or PowerShell) and want to help shape this guide:
- Follow the install guide: Self-Hosted Installation (Binary) (select the “Self-Hosted (Binary)” tab)
- Try it on your OS/distro of choice (Debian, Ubuntu, other Linux, Windows Server, Windows 11…)
- Tell us what broke, what was confusing, or what’s missing

Even small stuff counts — a missing package name, an unclear step, a systemd quirk on your distro, whatever. Every report makes the guide better for the next pilot who tries it.
