I wish there was a C&P Court that could start back up.
@Chad_Frostpacker What does that mean?
Care & Protection? And why a court, who’s in trouble now?
Hi Analoreke. ‘C&P’ is just shorthand for this ‘Crime & Punishment’ sub-forum.
Back in the day, we established a ‘Court of C&P’. Aggrieved parties would submit their gripes with one another. These would be considered by the Court (long-standing members, of sometimes doubtful authority, admittedly). In due course, an adjudication would appear.
There was more activity at that time and innovation was definitely a thing!
Alternatively just block the Frostpackers.
Hi, Sasha, and thank you for explaining. It didn’t come to me to think about Crime & Punishment section, I immediately went to Google
A C&P Court sounds interesting so I agree with Chad!
@Sasha_Nemtsov
Chad is a troll, his views change with the wind.
There used to be a reverse version of this way back in the day, before CCP ruined the war-dec mechanic.
You could wardec a corp, and blap their member’s ships when they undocked, unless they paid an undocking fee (usually in the form of paying the ransom to end the war)
I miss those days. But the crystal folks of today are far to fragile to survive such an environment and would meltdown… oh wait they did and whined to daddy CCP to fix it for them.
Omg that sounds like fun, almost like a turkey shoot. It’s like a tax to undock. Very original.
Dads have soft spots for girls
( I hit wrong button and published my post before it was done… I’m all thumbs today )
That’s not how court works. You must not be more than a mile high, and sentencing always comes before evidence.
It was a lot of fun, and even more so when stealth bombers first dropped. I remember training into a manticore with my corp mate (because at the time, mantys were alpha tier stealth bombers) and sitting off the dock cloaked, and picking off those folks that didn’t read the eve-mail that their corp was in a war.
The salt flowed those days. In much more creative ways than today, might I add.
Multiple conservative life time sentences, with no eligibility for parole for inflicting, what did the prosecution lawyer say? Inflicting undue emotional trauma upon the plaintiff by blowing up their pixilated space ship in an imaginary fictional setting generated by an mmo. Or something like that.
Hi, Gloria
I do not understand what that means.
That’s seems tough. I wouldn’t want to be on the bench of the accused.
It’s easy Concord and the Navy are guilty as F@#$ for shooting me in a pvp game.
I demand justice and reparations for the emotional and financial losses.
I’ve endured many a sleepless night over the loss of my catalysts.
@Ax_l_Thorne fun is why we play games so I’m glad you have fond memories of that time, although I imagine it wasn’t fun for those who were at the other end of your weapons systems, lol.
The Manticore is a serious ship, I like its design! I want one.
The Court may only properly consider an Application where responses can be requested of all parties to a dispute. To whom of CONCORD and the Navies might the Court direct its initial enquiries?
Should any party to the dispute fail to provide the requested response, judgement may be made perfunctorily - usually in favour of the appellant, especially if she happens to be one of our friends.
Alas, achieving redress in the situations you describe, is likely to be …challenging.

The Court of Crime & Punishment
@Spring_Sky Looks like you have serious grievances, Sky, but I agree with you about CONCORD and Navy. They definitely are like flies in the soup and the sooner we can lock them up the better it will be for everyone.
They cannot be destroyed too so it’s a major cheat for CCP! When I’m elected in the CSM I have a few words to say about that. Players should not be hostages to invincible entities in a Sanbox game.
Possibly.
Though creating yourself as a nemesis for a corp to fight back against can provide loads of entertainment for them.
When I was part of the Untitled Goose Corp, we used to gank this mining corp. set up cans with anti-mining rhetoric around their structure in Nakugard. Steal their ore (for whatever they jet canned mined) while roleplaying and environmental activists.
They hated us.
It wasn’t until after we moved out of nakugard and to gulfanodi, we got this random message from the corp leader saying that after we moved out, things got super boring. All his corp mates left, and wished we would come back to provide them with content.
It’s interesting. In the moment they wanted us gone. And after we did leave, they missed us and the content we brought them. The fight, so to say.
@Ax_l_Thorne As usual people don’t appreciate a good thing until it’s gone. At least you were paid in fun and laughter.
That’s hilarious!!
