@Spring_Sky I don’t know how people think, Spring. I barely know how I think, when it happens. I would guess laziness, wanting to save time and maybe a false sense of security.
I got my pod trashed last week because I thought it has fast align. I was just going to pick up my shuttle that I had left a few systems beyond so I got lazy and died. Live and learn.
I have no idea how some players will transport billions worth of stuff and not use a scout beforehand. Again, laziness, haste…?

I think it’s more like “I can do what I want, and no, I won’t accept the consequences”.

I can hardly believe that players would go onto a PvP game believing they can do anything they like without expecting consequences. But then again, it’s a crazy world so maybe I might believe it.

Depends on who’s actually doing the gate camp I guess, no doubt you would loose a fair few battles, it would probably take a bit more than 6 or 7. I find a lot of people are scared to Hotdrop in case they then get hotdropped in turn. Also it would only work for a while then word would get round and they would be ready for you. Find out who all your scouts are etc
Gatecamps are not dumb, they have scouts. And what you gonna catch with a fat bc anyway?
You sit there with your 6 BC’s you will soon be in pods.
Heck why not bring battlships instead? Make sure to fit purple mods just in case.

You obviously send in bait and tackle first. And I know what gate camps are like since ive been in a few myself. Like i said its the people who do nothing but camp I don’t like.
It’s like at the very moment they lost 40 bill, they realize they should have bought a hauling permit not to be confused with a mining permit.

What’s next, Docking permits, yes? That way they can’t dock and be safe until they pay up 
But I can understand hauling permits, like the over-the-road truckers have to pay to haul.
Some of them have beautiful rigs! Like they used SKINR, lol
Maybe the creation of a Wordsalad Posting Permit is in order.
