Why don't yearly remaps get stacked?

I was confused about remaps for a while and thought that if a yearly remap wasn’t used it automatically would be saved up until it turned into a bonus remap.
That is not how it works. If you don’t spend a yearly remap, it gets a yearly hold until you do and then it starts ticking until you get another a year from then

It seems like it should work differently. I have 0 bonus remaps and want to use my yearly one or save it and let it go to the bonus category until it is possible to earn 1 bonus remap and have a yearly remap saving up again.

Does anyone agree?

If you ask me attribute remaps only benefit players who are able to train skills of a specific category for a year, which is veteran players and alts of veteran players.

New players have to train skills of too many categories for remaps to be useful, and are at an unnecessary disadvantage because of remaps.

If we’re going to ask CCP to change the way attribute remaps work I suggest we ask for it’s removal.

I just feel that the perfect balance would be yearly remaps feed into bonus remaps and then you have enough to get by.

I feel like that benefits only players who have played well over a year, while the players who are most impacted by the negative effects of attribute-based training are players in their first year.

Deletion of attribute-based learning and remaps fixes both issues.

No. The restriction prevents you from training skills quickly.

That defeats the purpose of a remap as such. Remaps are very powerful tools when used wisely, but if you could just remap within short intervals they will be overpowered and they lose their point. This is why you only get to do it once a year. You’ll have to plan your skill training in advance for a longer period and omit or take a hit training skills of lower strength attributes.

For speeding up skill training I suggest you look into accelerators. They achieve the exact same purpose.
