Yes, EVE is a sandbox. People wanting to PVE can PVE, but the flipside is that PVPers are NOT prevented from PVPing with them. If they were, it wouldn’t be a bloody sandbox.

We do not actually just throw words around without fully knowing that, how or why they apply. If you feel like you have an actual case, said case should be pointed out. Simply parrotting people, as is common for children, doesn’t actually cut it when you’re dealing with people outside your social circle.

Updates to the game are what give/takeaway players ability to shoot you. There is no pvp kill in the game that didn’t have dev written game code making it possible. If ccp wanted pvp gone tomorrow it could be done.

The reality is that the pvp started long before the guy was in system with you.

Before you undock there are several resources available to help you survive an encounter, not just your ship and your fit, but information and allies as well.

Neglecting most of your resources may often lead to a one dimensional encounter like you describe, but it doesn’t always have to be that way.

True. I mean what’s the point of it all, really? Unless they force us all to fly frigates, remove everything destroyer sized and up from the game and only permit one person to activate modules on another ship at a time, we might as well be pouring our hard earned cash down the drain. You’re practically set up to fail from the start. How did we all fall for this scam? Where’s the enjoyment?

A lvl 5 salt thrower does not use his/her hands in Eve, he/she uses a railgun accelerating said salt up to hypervelocity speeds creating a maximum amount of ill feeling/tears while farming that in a very large cup of laughter. Eve was designed for salt throwers.
