Let’s see if I can clean it up, because I have no idea what he is trying to convey.
I’m going to assume that “youre” is: you’re
I think “acting” is the verb in this sentence.
“Like” makes me think that there is some sort of comparison is going to come next.
“defins.” This is where things blow apart. It may be “definitely.” Which would help explain the previous word being a comparison. If thats the case, the sentence would read as:
Still doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but it does give some direction as to what he is trying to say.
Given the context of the thread being “I hate gankers” I believe I have enough information to take a stab at it:
It’s still really cumbersome. Let’s see if it can be simplified:
Which I think is the nuts and bolts of what he’s trying to say.
@Ax_l_Thorne Well, while an inaccurate conclusion, that would make sense as being consistent with his prior statements. In an amazing twist highlighting the beauty and weirdness of the English language, both @Githany_Red’s theory of ‘defend’ and @TheHound_OfGreys theory of ‘Define’ both also work. Perhaps my definition and my defense of ganking explain my actions?
Possibly. I’ve seen a variety of different definitions and defenses of ganking, most antigankers claim that any destruction of any ship that isn’t consensual is ganking, regardless of location or context, most gankers just own up to what they do, although usually defending it under the guise of doing what they do for a variety of reasons (claiming areas of highsec, making money, discouraging players from mining, etc). So yeah, your definition and defense of ganking likely do describe your actions from the perspective of milkyway.
I find it just a little odd that looking through all his posts he does know how to spell most of the mis-spelled words correctly. For most of the mis-spellings you can find examples in other posts where it is correct. In one case with same word just 10 words apart in same post. People who genuinely don’t know how to spell don’t get the word wrong in one place and then get it right 10 words later. It just smacks to me of someone trying to hide their writing style.
