they get enough destruction in nullsec, lowsec, wormholes, trig space, , New eden has a large space for those things
I used to do that too but i cannot afford ships anymore because i cannot farm with all the ganking going on and shiz
New Eden has no space for people who can’t stomach losing a ship. Really. The line must at least be drawn there or it’s not Eve.
I mined with my ships for ridiculous lengths of time before needing to replace them due to loss, and I had lots of extras from the profits I made from a ship before it blew up, and that’s in systems with somewhat regular ganking patrols. It’s not that hard.

I dont mind losing a ship in PVP, if i go to pvp its obviously meant to destroy or be destroyed

But ganking is nothing like pvp because there iis no actual fighting in it. is just straight ■■■■■■■■
You’re trying to plunder the system resources and someone else is trying to stop you from getting them. You started the fight when you started mining. Everything you get devalues what everyone else gets. You were PvPing from the get go. Gankers just take you up on your invitation.
I have mined a lot, almost entirely in highsec. I have not had a problem getting adequate reward for the risk. I do not consider myself a very good player of Eve or games in general, so I feel like if I can do it most people can.

No, it’s just you. There’s 20 years worth of players used to dangerous high sec that you can’t speak on behalf of.

I promise. Just look at the killboards. According to zKill we had 16 ganks today, well maybe a few more because some kills not show up if not reported. But lets say 30 ships were ganked today. 30 of thousands and thousands that undocked and did whatever they wanted in HighSec.
I want Eve to have zero whiners.
We can all want unrealistic things.
Anybody who knows anything about me knows I don’t hurt anybody who doesn’t try to hurt me first. I only ever made two characters both on the same account. This one, and an alt I used when my asocial self was overloaded and wanted to monitor what was going on in game and make sure everyone was doing well without having to drain my social battery further. You won’t believe that, I’m sure, since it’s much more convenient for you to believe that what I did isn’t possible.
Thats how democracy and freedom started in real world

Indeed…which is why I keep telling miners that there are plenty of highsec systems where they can literally mine all day without seeing a ganker. But nobody listens. Then they wonder why they get ganked in systems like Isanamo. Sigh.
Shall they, shall they, however these 30 people also should realize that they don’t talk about some “major problem” or “dire imbalance”, but about a very tiny issue, which they could have circumvented entirely by themselves in the first place.
The main “problem” is not ganking, its the fear of ganking and the lazyness of people, not willing to take preparations into consideration when planning their activities.

No they don’t. I’ve been to Uedama in a Venture called ‘Gank This !’ and mined there…just to rile the gankers. I’ve never been ganked while mining ( even when I had a Procurer ) and rather than ‘fear’ I love the excitement of the chase. In fact not only have I never been ganked while mining…I’ve even scored two kill rights against failed attempts.

Stop ‘living in fear’ and enjoy the game ! The worst that can happen is you lose a few space pixels.
