I do have freedom. Freedom to not be yet another borg drone clocking in to meet quotas.
You traded an hour a week on fleet duty for gimping your mining ships with crap yields, just so you can mine the lowest income stuff in high-sec whilst being constantly paranoid about gankers.
That’s not freedom. That’s an illogical trade-off.
My Hulk uses a max yield fit. The Orca provides all the buffs as well.
Max yield of highsec ore is still worse than fitting for tank in nullsec. They make more in one cycle than you do an entire Hulk ore hold.
Why do you all act like that’s motivation for me? I don’t like null sec. I’m not going to become a borg drone and mine every single day just because it pays more than mining in High Sec. I mine in High Sec only 3 days a week at most. Why would I go somewhere that has a higher risk of blowing up my ships when I don’t play often enough to make it worth my time? I think I put in around 24 hours in a single week in this game.
I get it. You all need more targets for PvP and wars. Well, that’s not my problem. Goon shouldn’t have destroyed PH. That was a huge loss of targets. I’m not going to be recruited into Null just to help fill that void.
If you are moving in the exact opposite direction of your warp target you first need 5 seconds to come to a standstill and then 5 seconds to reach align time, for a total of 10 seconds.
Quantity over quality, let that PTSD go, enjoy your activities, but just remember, have extra copies of ships.
If 1 is good, 100 is way better, just build or buy ships you use the most, their modules, BPC, minerals, when it happens, slip into your replacement, no fuss.
But remember, learn from it, what factors are present that rolled the odds against you, fix that and you will mitigate the occurrences.
