Why is one moon desirable over another?

As far as high sec moon mining pretty much it’s very similar stuff although sometimes in various quantities.

What I noticed on a survey run is that certain moons had refineries on only particular moons such as in the photo where the arrow points too.

So they chose that moon as it has a high amount of Zeolites, which is one of best forms of compressed Pyerite, which has tripled in price from normal trends. It all depends on what those ores give.

Thanks, it what I was thinking but wanted to be sure.

Zeolites are addictive.

Please mine responsibly.

In other words, calculate ISK/m3 for each thing.

this tool tells your the isk value of the moons: Moons - The Forge

Could you clarify the timescale?

ya the value number is the amount of isk you get from one month of metenox mining

The AI picked the same moon I would think is a good moon, however from 1 to 4, other players picked 2,3,4, and maybe I am basing my conclusion on limited experience, here was the result.

Based on the information provided, here is a list of the most desirable moons to the least desirable moons, based on their Pyrite content:

  1. II - Moon 1 [3]: This moon has the highest concentration of Bitumens (0.28), Coesite (0.41), and Zeolites (0.31). Of these, Zeolites are a known and very good source of Pyrite.

  2. X - Moon 1 [2]: This moon has a good amount of Bitumens (0.22) and Zeolites (0.38). While the amount of Bitumens is lower than the other two, the Zeolites content is quite high, making this a desirable location for Pyrite.

  3. III - Moon 1 [3]: This moon has Bitumens (0.35), Coesite (0.42), and Sylvite (0.23). While it has a high Coesite content, which is a key mineral in EVE Online, it is less desirable for Pyrite compared to locations with a higher Zeolite or Bitumen content.

  4. VIII - Moon 7 [4]: This moon has the lowest quantity of all the key materials listed: Bitumens (0.32), Coesite (0.26), Sylvite (0.33), and Zeolites (0.09). Its Zeolites content is particularly low, making it the least desirable of the four for Pyrite.
